I don't want to like it but I really do!

Why you want to not like it?
Always Romanian performances looked more worse in National final, than in the big contest. They all had huge improvment. And people know very well Paula and Ovi, you should not have a doubt that will be perfect. It the song lack of something for some of you, you should realyze that Paula and Ovi are great artist and already had an experience in Eurovision. Their show will be amazing in Copenhagen... I have no doubts on it. Vocally will be perfect, vocally was perfect also now, but the sound from Copenhagen will be perfect. Plus that they will work day and night for this. They want to win there and I think that was harder for them to win in Romania than will be in Copenhagen. Don't surestimate Romanians like many Europeans done, they were always wrong... at least in Eurovision. ;)

The thing is with Paula and Ovi that they have amazing chemistry which translates well on TV. Just like with "Playing with Fire" (which I don't consider a master piece) it is the act that will add flavor and character to it and while I don't expect a 2010 repeat, they will at least qualify and probably score mid field.

Having watched the live performance of Miracle now, I got more bored as the song went on - they need to figure out something else for the live performance. The pianos facing each other set-up for Playing With Fire worked excellently, but this one looked far more awkward. Still, the song is awesome, so they've already got a great base to work from. xyaay

As Centrix pointed out, they always look a bit odd during NF, they'll always improve. I actually like the hologram idea but it should be a bit more effective.

Amen to that! The stage in Copenhagen will be totally different than the one from NF, which was ok-ish (I would say pretty outdated - those light were kinda annoying at some point - but after all it was a great show). Europeans always underestimate Romania. They did it last year too(oh, according to people's comments in the 2013 thread on escunited it was the end of the world when Cezar was selected) and in the end we've got 13th place. I'm 100% sure Paula & Ovi will bring an amazing show, better than the one from tonight (which was badass! I absolutely loved the effects, especially in the intro when Paula appeared)

This does nothing for me, I'll give it a 4.

It's hard to believe this is the same duo who gave us "Playing With Fire".

That idea I think it was beyond TVR's capacities  They(TVR) usually have bland ideas for design and stuff.

^Even if he ended up 13th, I still didn't like Cezar in Malmö. I admit they made a great job with the staging but in the end it all comes down to the song. I guess the same goes for many people.

Actually I think you'll get a better result this year , this might manage to make it into the top 10 ;)

By the way, people, stop comparing an 2010 act with an 2014 one. Past is past, present is present :? New year, new entry. xcheer

Same. I think this will do quite well. People who don't like it, moan about it and say it wont qualify. But in all honestly, Romania have a perfect record and that's not about too stop.

If you have the same act then it's just natural to compare them. It's one of the risks you run when doing a second or third run.

IMO this is the worst song out of the three qualifiers of tonight. Although Lithuania's song has "What The **** Is This" written all over it and has idiotic lyrics, it doesn't seem to take itself seriously and has interesting bits.

I find this song so bland and uninspiring. It's a cheap dance/pop track with utterly nonsensical lyrics even by ESC standards. Moreover, Paula & Ovi lack the energy they delivered on stage with "Playing With Fire" which was as formulaic as this one but still succeeded where this one fails. Big let down from the craziness of 2013 and the fantastic summer hit of 2012.

Mona Mihaela Trifu was the true winner in all our hearts. I will never forget her song "Finally!". I was so touched by it xheart I hope she enters again next year and gets the chance to represent Romania.

ok...

first of all, i adore "playing with fire".

second of all, this is nowhere near. ofc, it can't be the same song  but the quality is nowhere near 1st one.
maybe they shouldn't have used so much electronics or something, i don't know.
personally, not a fan of this song, sorry xshrug
