I can't see this outside of top 5. Outside of top 10 is impossible for me. I liked the most Electric Fence, they are simply great. Let's hope they will try with a song in Romanian next year. Mandinga was an obvious winner because the song is already a hit, they have the support of Cat Music (Sony), they are a big name on Romanian music scene, she is very beautiful and has a vry good voice (I didn't expect her to have such a voice and to dance in the same, to be part of the show). I am 100% sure that they will have a perfect show at Baku, they are good at this, too.

Actually Spaniards and Italians can understand each other quite well. I think Portuguese can understand us, but we understand Portuguese when it's written, because their accent is difficult for us. Something similar happens with Catalan, but this one is much more similar.
French is more difficult, but we can at least understand the main idea they're talking. With Romanian I really have no clue
I can get some things when it's written though :p
The idea is that all these languages has the same origin (latin) and they suffered regional changes. Besides of each one assimilate other language's words, so the difference between them stepped up. As other users said, Romanian has balkan and turkish words as spanish has latinized arab words. So because of this, it seems Romanian and spanish has nothing to do, but it is just the first impression. Madre (mother) in romanian is mama (its funny because mama in spanish is mom), morir (to die) in romanian is Mor...

We have quite a lot Slavic words in Romanian, much more than Turkish ones. To die (morir) = a muri (in Romanian) :)
P. S. Mor = I die

Mandinga was our very best solution. I am glad that i saw all that great show. The track is good, Elena has a good voice and the show could be awesome in Baku. Hope for a top10, but we will see. Thanx all for the lovely words about our song;)

I don't know but... what happened with the instrumental part? I could hear almost only the voices and the drums... and the bagpipe sometimes.

Sonorizarea proasta a TVR e de vina. Sunt sigura ca in Baku vor suna perfect. Mai ales daca Elena va lua lectii serioase de canto si daca o vor lasa mai moale cu nuntile, botezurile etc

Like in 2009 and 2010 again a nice song from Romania (with a NF with a lot of good songs)
I gave 10 points and hope to see Mandinga in the final.

Do you listen to the studio version??? Her voice is very soft there.

Good for her that her voice is live stronger than in the video, i like the live version more!!!
