I have read somewhere that Hotel FM have been invited as special guess to Malta's NF. Hope that's true.

Yes he really is cute. From those pictures seems like he couldn't believe it that he really did win. And when I think that many great artists like Mihai or Paula did try at least 5-6 times before winning the NF, than i understand why he was so surprised (although he is a great artist also!). Hope this is a good sign. I don't know if he is a religious guy or not but I think somebody up there really loves him

well,he said in an interview after teh show that he expected Distinto,Claudia Pavel or Directia 5 to win,and Gabriel Baruta said the same thing...
But is certainly one thing I like about him and I liked the same thing at Lena->they're both charismatic..I remember last year,but this year too when Gianina was speaking from Green Room and he was showing his tongue and crooked )

But this one I already knew. I meant a video about the moment, where they get told it. Do you know what I mean?

BTW, I like the posted interview very much. Can it be that he already has a Romanian accent? Or is it only the bit strange sounding Northern English accant which is maybe not so common like London slang?

And I just can agree with you when you say he is charismatic as Lena
This was exactly the thing I thought when I saw him the first time!


And I want to say that I love thy lyrics very much. And I love the way Hotel FM performe their song. This is so positive and catching. I love that.
Look at the winners of the last 2 years: I guess people like that at the moment.



And one more else: When I saw David for the first time, I also thought he looks very Romanian and I was very astonished when I realized that he is English
And although I know it now, I am still thinking that he really looks Romanian.

I don't know about that. I really enjoyed this year's NF. The hosts (Paula and Ovi) were better, the scene did looked better then last year scene, the special guests were awesome. And the entire atmosphere was great, maybe also because was New Year Eve. There's only one thing I would have wanted, to see Monica Anghel singing along with Chiara, Niamh and Paula. Her voice is amazing, she would have fit just perfectly, and plus she has also represented Romania to ESC.

Happy New Year, everyone! It has been i while since I dropped by this forum, so long that I actually had forgotten my password
And I only found out just now how the get it sent to my mail

Anyway, congratulations once again, Romania! Another national final where the best song won. I was terrified from the televoting results, but the jury changed everything
And I have to say that I really like the song. It is THAT kind of song who sticks to the brain from the first time you listen to it. And it also has some Elton John-ish in it.
I see some people here says that last year was better. Yeah, it probably was. But than again we do not know what songs the other countries are gonna come up with this year, so it is WAY to early to have any opinion about it - except it IS a very good song. I predict you will soon have it as a radiohit.

Did you know that one half of last years Romanian winners has written a song for the Norwegian song contest? Yep. Ovi has written a song, but this time he will not perform himself. A duo will present it on January 19. I look forward to hear what he has written this time!
