im sorry i live in the states but i follow romanian music still.
names like INNA, LUMINITA ANGHEL, AND MAINLY MIHAI TRAISTARIU..
these people will never compete on new years when they get paid so much to sing elsewhere.
dalma IS NOT GOOD. she is a non-christian piece of dung.. my family no longer listens to her music since her outrageous dress at least year's final

Ciprian, don't take it bad or personal, but each time you post here, I am more and more surprised about what I read there. If you discount some singers because of such factors, and you discount someone in real life, because he doesn't have a skin mole on a back, but on the forehead (I am just following the logic you made, with alternative example which fits there), then I really have nothing to say.
Not to mention that I disagree with almost everything you said above, and those singers aren't the only ones in Romania.

its a personal thing for my family. we are devout strong christians.. if you would prefer i could add her voice is so aggravating to my ears i just turn away when she sings. the romanian boy bands wont go to eurovision. most are dead. akcent or ozone or what have you. its up to the innas and mihais of the world to take romania somewhere

We have Akcent and Morandi and they are not dead. Both of the bands have worldwide succes. You are talking about Mihai and Luminita? Well, both Edward Maya and Sahara have more succes than them....

It seems that Directia 5 would like to withdraw from the national selection but we all know about the 100,000 euro fee brought to the competition by mrs. Marina Almasan...

lucian, akcent is my second favorite romanian male band of all time
i grew up to them and 3 sud est which is my personal favorite
but european appeal speaking, i would love to see either mihai or inna and noone else
and NO im actually christian. noone in my family could believe what dalma wore last year at the final

I even forgot how she was dressed, but I checked now. Well, I remember I also was a little shocked because I didn't imagine she will be dressed like that. The idea of ESC is to try to be different and that was all she tryed to do. She usually is a decent person but an artistic act is an artistic act.

I loved it too.
She is a great singer ,the bad thing is that she hasn't a song as good as her voice...I loved her 2009 and 2010 entries but this one is not the best..but it's very charming and catchy

That's exactly why I don't want Dalma this year. I was so obsessed in the past that Nico should represent us and when she went with a bad song everybody said it was her fault and not the song. IMO it's better that Dalma stays at home this year and come back next year with an awesome song like the one from 2009
