Asturian (Asturian: Asturianu) is a Romance language of the West Iberian group, Astur-Leonese Subgroup, spoken in the Spanish Region of Asturias by some Asturian people. In Asturias, even though it is not an official language, it is protected under the autonomous statute legislation and is an optional language at schools.

Since we want to avoid getting impregnated during NSC 95 we're opting for a democratic way of choosing the book we'll bring to Paperland.
Here are the six wonderful candidates:
1. Haruki Murakami - Umibe no Kafuka [Kafka on the Shore]
2. Thomas Bernhard - Die Kälte. Eine Isolation [The Coldness. An Isolation]
3. Paolo Giordano - La Solitudine die Numeri Primi [The Solitude of Prime Numbers]
4. Franz Kafka – Die Verwandlung [The Metamorphosis]
5. José Saramago - Ensaio sobre a cegueira [Blindness]
6. Stefan Zweig - Schachnovelle [The Royal Game]
