As usual there are differences between what I want to happen and what I think will happen.
This year seems harder to predict than last year, the overall quality might be slightly lower.
In my opinion semi 2 has more quality than semi 1.

Wishlist: (the red ones are "in danger")
Belgium
Estonia
Hungary (very uncertain despite good 1st rehearsal)
Serbia
Georgia
Netherlands
Macedonia
Russia (although it's Russia, but the song itself is good enough)
Albania
Romania

Prediction list:
I think only 3 are really certain
Belgium
Estonia
Russia (always qualifies no matter the circumstances)
----------
Denmark (always qualifies no matter what they sing, right?)
Greece (the positive reactions to the rehearsal were very strong)
----------
(after that it is really hard to predict; when I have to chose I would go with these...)
Georgia
Serbia
Albania
Macedonia
...and maybe still Hungary? (I would be so happy for Boggie)
----------
Remaining countries: Netherlands, Romania, Belarus (wouldn't surprise me if those were switched with Albania, Macedonia, Hungary)
...then there's Moldova, Armenia
...and if Finland qualifies, I will faint.

Sure: :ru::gr:

Most likely::be::ge::ee::ro:
Borderline: :al::rs::mk::am::by::md:

Probably not::fi::dk::hu::nl:

To pick 10: :ru: :gr: :be: :ge: :ee: :ro: :al: :rs: :mk: :am:

I can still see both Moldova and Belarus qualifying though.

But since then they've sent a lot of MOR classic-radio-pop songs which were always enough to qualify, and this year is no exception!

So since the jury will give their votes tonight, it is time I will make my final prediction. I usually am pretty correct predicting the finalists, last year I got 20 out of 20 (yes I did predict that :sm: will qualify and :il: will flop, both seemed pretty obvious)
Finalists will be:
:am: - rehearsals were great, diaspora will be more active than ever
:be: - rehearsals were great, modern, catchy tune
:gr: - it is Greece
:ee: - one of the favourites to win the whole damn thing
:rs: - catchy, great voice, gay anthem
:hu: - touching, jury will like it
:ru: - it is Russia
:dk: - catchy, instant, happy song
:ro: - touching, many parents can relate, also it is Romania
:ge: - pimp slot, great fierce song

Non-finalists will be:
:md: - dated, whole thing is just weird
:nl: - meh, annoying
:fi: - juries will destroy this
:mk: - they ruined a good song with terrible performance
:by: - bland, boring, it is just there
:al: - good voice, but boring performance and staging

My prediction (in my head as yet) is exactly like yours! Funny :)

Not so sure about Serbia and Denmark. Belarus can pull a cheesecake out of their sleeve, Albania can live up to the hype, or Finland can be treated more gently by the juries than expected. These three have a shot in my book.

I am pretty sure Belarus will stay at the semi finals, "Cheesecake" was very catchy and Teo had loads of charisma and was a great performer, while "Time" just does nothing for me.
But I do agree that Finland and Albania may have a chance.

Nina Sublati and Stig Rasta seem to be experiencing vocal problems, I hope they nail it tonight or we may have an upset tomorrow.

My prediction:

:am: - because my gut feeling tells me so
:be: - is going to get many votes from viewers who appreciate the very modern song
:gr: - Greece is simply not going to miss the final this year either
:ee: - no explaining needed
:ru: - because Polina has star quality and it will show, also great ballad
:dk: - the song sucks but will be a stand out in a field of ballads
:by: - I just can't see this catchy mess miss the final
:ro: - Romania always deliver a good performance/song
:ge: - will catch viewers interest as a non-ballad
:al: - people have been talking a lot about this one, and it's damn good
