...because the UK entry is terrible, that's why. Germany is not perfect but it's catchy and a bit different from the usual mullarkey. Spain is more traditional but has it's merits. France isn't my favourite but has something. UK is a poor song, sung averagely. I was a massive fan of UK last year where they got a big name to lead it (ALW) got in a great singer, a decent power ballad, then promoted it properly. It's back to the no-hopers with bland songs this year. A real shame. Dislike it or not, Germany is far, far superior to the UK entry, sad to say.
