Vesa-Matti Loiri, who represented in ESC with song "Huilumies"in 1980, died today. He was 77-years-old.

Olivia Newton-John, who is best known for playing Sandy in the movie Grease and represented United Kingdom in Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 has passed away at the age of 73. Gone too early! I am very sad, she was a wonderful artist, my mom’s all-time favourite. Unfortunately icons are not immortal.

- Lasse Mårtenson represent in 1964. He was 81 years old.
- Päivi Paunu represent in 1972 with Kim Floor. She was 70 years old.
- Riki Sorsa represent in 1981. He was 63 years old
2017:
- Seija Simola represent in 1978. She was 72 years old.

- Laila Halme represent in 1963.She was 87 years old.
- Fredi (Real name Matti Kalevi Siitonen) reprsent in 1967 and 1976. He was 78 years old.
- Pave Maijanen (Real name Pekka Juhani Maijanen) represent in 1992. He was 70 years old.

Len Goodman, a professional dancer best known for his judging role on both the UK's Strictly Come Dancing and the US's Dancing with the Stars, passed away on Saturday aged 78. He also provided commentary in the UK for both produced editions of the Eurovision Dance Contest, at present, the only versions of the contest available to watch are the UK editions featuring Len's commentary.

Whether one likes his music or not, he was an established artist, loved internationally.

Sara Tavares, the Portuguese representative from 1994 died yesterday at 45.

She also performed in 2018 half show

Her career post Eurovision was completely different from what she did at the contest, and was one of my favorite artists. Really bummed about it.
