Right now I just hope Conan doesn't finish dead last in the semi-final....any position higher than last would be a small victory with all the problems since he arrived in Tel Aviv.

Those were technical rehearsals. The artists themselves weren't physically present during those.

Not that Conan would need to be. The problem with Telemoveis, and many other entries is in fact an overabundance of distance shots, which makes it impossible to properly capture the vibe of the song. An extra run with just the camera crew should be sufficient here.

Well Conan was pissed off, and wiwibloggs told during the live stream that the portuguese delegation were pissed off. The same thing is happening with Cyprus, just watched Tamta's interview with Alesia Michelle and she admited her second rehearsal wasn't good.

Of course there seems to be a problem: but as with every situation where there is a conflict: there are two sides of the story and so far we‘ve only heard one, so at least I haven‘t made my mind up about what actually happened.

It's not a new rehearsal. It's just a different segment of the music video from rehearsal 2 where you don't hear the snickers tapping on the floor.

I'm just appaled by the lack of lighting work this year. It simply doesn't exist and this is one of the performances where the light was paramount.

What was so abysmal about the ESC rehearsals that people do not like? Isn't it just the same performance with different outfits that's all? Are people hating it because of the camera angles? To me, I never thought it has a chance to qualify when it was first announced as Portugal's entry, so I was very surprised about the initial support/love the song got.

I would be happy if he qualified. It would be such a disappointment if he didn't. Where does the pessimistic thinking coming from anyway? Weeks ago I sa him in top 10 in the final, and now I doubt his qualification even …

I think the main problem is that the concept from the NF doesn't look as good here + the camera angles are not optimal and there are mixed reactions on the costumes.


Make no mistake though, this is an amazing song and I will admire for the courage to send it regardless of what result it achieves.

I don't think the rehearsals are as bad as everyone else seems to think, and i'm sure they'll get everything in order in time, but it seems most agree with me, that it's kind of lost its edge. Still hoping for a top 10, along with Australia (who's almost sure to get it) it would be great to encourage variety for next year....
