That isn't the problem, there's too much happening between the acts and the results. They should have spread out the songs more if they wanted to keep this going on for another hour

Yeah. Everything, from Idol to Big Brother to the Golden Globes to Dancing with the Stars has this long ass live shows. We call them "galas".
The trend the last few years has been for the duration of the shows to decrease, but RTP has to make the investment in the arena count I guess and 2 hours is not enough for them
