Anyway it's not very surprising to see a show take so long here in Portugal. It's quite usual for the prime time TV "galas". Plus, the fact that RTP is doing their 60th birthday celebration means that the show is longer too.
Of course they could plan things better and do a more exciting show, but it's RTP we're talking about! They couldn't change their DNA during their 60th birthday party

The show is more about the 60th anniversary of RTP rather than Festival do Cancao ... it's a punishment to all eurofans around Europe who ignored Portugal for so many years.
