I don't like her song at all and her voice only makes it worse. However I must say 'Mea Culpa' is much, much worse and so stereotypical that it screems 'wannabe sent entries' or 'we want to be like others'. At least Suzy's song, even as terrible as I think it is, is not trying to pretentiously sound like 1000 other dance crap that has already tried their luck in ESC and miserably failed.

Plus, most of the Portuguese fans who support 'Mea Culpa' made their decision even before the song was known. :?

I agree with you on "Mea Culpa" and even though I do love Suzy and her song (although I agree her vocals are not great) she would be my favourite and if not her Zana is the only other participant I like. I feel as if Zana's song is very Portuguese and she is probably the best vocalist, I am rooting for Suzy and Zana and anything else would be a disappointment! (Especially Raquel) Rui's song is not horrible but it is not good by any means it is wayyy to disney!

By the way, "Mea Culpa" reminded me immediatly of "My Number One". (It's my way to say that the Portuguese selection sounds so 2005...)

I don't know if the code for youtube is right, but here's an interview of Suzy in the semi-final.

Honestly, Pimba, why not? I really think that the song is contagious, although the lyrics are nothing special, everybody will sing it, everybody can dance to the song (it is not focused in club genre, since it is for portugal's bailarico, which happens also in other countries), it wil have the best promotion (Emanuel, shows like Somos Portugal, Sony International), it is the best song to send to Eurovision! Go Suzy!!!!
