Because of scandal of the selection, the hilarity of the performance and the cheeriness and rhythm of the song... Plus Portugal is a veteran Eurovision country without a win and a long history of failure so I guess people are interested.

I don't know if Porto has many suitable venues though. Lisbon has Pavilhão Atlântico, or now MEO Arena, which would be good. Then again DR managed to tranform a industrial compound into a ESC venue so all is possible
