So let´s see, which song will be chosen by the Portugease people. Since many years I´m fan of the Portugal entries and mostly they were underrated. So I have a good feeling for this year. As MrJadeEwen said, if Germany can win the ESC, why not Portugal. And as I am German, I know what it means to be mostly at the end of the scoreboard every year. So it´s time for Portugal now. And I also agree with you, that it´s always great to hear the portugease language. I hope, they will never sing in English - Portugease is such a beautiful language. Good luck and a good choice.

^ It really saddens me when I see Portugal send really good songs (in my opinion at least) and see them close to the bottom of the charts- especially 2008 when they were 2nd on the semi and got 13th place in the final, I hope it's Lisbon 2012

I hope it too. At the moment it sounds like a miracle, but sometimes miracles come true. So I hope Portugal will send a song which will cast a spell over us all.

Portuguese broadcaster will publish FdC participants on Thursday.
They received more than 400 entries so far.

I know I say this every year, but IMO they should send Dulce Pontes again. She's the voice of Portugal and she could definitely bring the festival to Lisbone for the first time!
I'm really rooting for Portugal this year

Lusitana Paixão was such a good song! that and Chamar a Musica were the best Portuguese entries from the 90's. I'm happy to see another person who's rooting for Portugal

1. Homens de luta (woohoo I was hoping secretly that they will come back, I like this song more than their previous effort)

2. Carla Moreno (I have a feeling that she will finish like Soraya, though)

3. Tânia Tavares (not the best music but I felt that she wrote the lyrics herself).





I want Rui Andrade (such a hottie ) on FdC 2012 with something fast, he has gr8 vocals - I wish he could have a better song.

as for Filipa Ruas - This is so ordinary - but her authors (not surprised, Gladnikoff) made it even worse. Wannabe commercial MF hit ... the result is mediocre. I can't remember it already in a 5 minutes.

@Aleks, I agree with the Carla Moreno song comment, it sounds like something from Soraya's Sin Miedo album! I like this song though I just feel like Coelho/Babic song from last year was a a bit better. I have to hear the whole song though

I LOVE A LUTE É ALEGRIA and Sobrevivo the most I've only listened to half of them though, it might change

Good songs in Portugal, congratulations!

My favourite is Sobrevivo, but there are many other good songs. I feel this could Portugal's year in top-10
Just get rid of Homens da Luta. That's so suitable for a cheap Iberian party, but not for ESC
