Probably nothing will change unless people responsible for running our public broadcaster will change. The only hope is in the general election for parliament later this year. Hopefully we will finally have a change from our abominable, filthy government.

The hate she is getting is disgusting but that doesn't mean she should qualify. It's a competition at the end of the day. Other artists (Wild Youth, Piqued Jacks, Gustaph) have also received hate so I guess they should all qualify.

I mean yeah my mom is a bit of a tinfoil hat theorist as well and votes for a questionable party, and of course we should judge neither you, me nor Blanka for family members‘ voting habits. However, I don’t think that’s how the original comment was meant either.

I also agree to a certain extent about the 80% thing, but we always have to stay mindful about what that other 20% incorporates. There are definitely lines that I would not cross, which Blanka did. Now, with that long a** comment, she might just not have read it till the end, so I‘ll give her benefit of the doubt. As a public figure, especially in an ongoing sh*t storm, it’s at least not smart though. However, the second comment calls everyone insane who votes for Jann and as a reason, the crop top is given? Now that’s just very disrespectful and as far as I am aware, Jann has done nothing but be kind to her.

Obviously a lot of anti-Blanka-people take it way too far, and that is not okay, and it should stop. I feel sympathy in that specific regard for her but her behavior in no way compells me to expand my sympathy even further.

Only those who follow the Polish NF (and who support Jann or other acts) and the Polish people are not going to vote for her. The former should be in small numbers (and consist of those that are ESC supporters that follow NF closely) and the latter can't downvote her in mass anyway.

I know the semis are not widely watched as compared to the GF, but I still think the general public won't know the shitstorm that happened with TVP and the NF. So if Blanka is able to give a convincing performance, I dare say in the grander scale of things, her qualification rate may not be vastly impacted.

Just want to add I'm aware that it's her fault, I said before a few pages ago that she's not innocent in this and should be held accountable. But I still think it's just sad. And we missed out on the polish crowd going nuts, sing along and scream BEJBA.

And I agree, the NF drama won't really matter. The bubble wouldn't care for this song much anyway, even if it won the selection fairly. It was always going to be reliant on the casuals voting it in and I think they will. The jury can't tank it, her vocals are fine enough, she's hot and the song is catchy. That could be very well enough to qualify. Statistically slot 9 is also a good spot when it comes to qualification chances. And also, who is her competition? Doo Goo Boo Goo Loo Goo? Semi 2 is weak.

In a full televote weak semi she really has a chance. It depends on the show at this point because vocals will be fixed with a little help of pre-recorded sound. I am afraid of a dance break she is going to implement cause she's a stiff dancer. She doesn't really sing nor dance well. The song is not groundbreaking. Everything is overall mediocre.

Iceland will be the closest competitor. And for meme effect, Austria. Belgium can be counted as her competitor due to both songs being outright pop tracks.

I won't count Armenia and Georgia as her competition, despite them being solo female artists, but the genre and stylisically they are so different.

So to be honest, Blanka does not seem chanceless as many seem to think.

I really don't get the hateboner people have for San Marino. I also don't care much about the song and the "smell you like an animal" bit is cringy... but otherwise it's a very competent performance and kinda catchy.
