I sort of had a feeling after her performance she wouldn't make it but I still hoped she would...

yeah I knew she wouldn't as soon as she performed but there was still some hope! More shocked about Norway and Armenia to be honest!!

Horribly, horribly out of tune! Didn't like the song either, so i'm just glad she didn't pass.

Magdalena didn't sing very well. :S I didn't like...
It's fair that she didn't qualify to the final, I guess.

I'm feeling sorry for Poland, as a song it's still my #1 and this SHOULD be a song contest.

But yeah the performance was a mess, not the clothing or dance moves, but the singing was just all over the place and sometimes they forget to sing even. Why did they pick to start first in the first place?

But I actually can't take that such an utter CRAP entry as the Lithuanian one got voted through... the SONG standard will be lower and lower every year now with the juries.

Such boring and dated songs got through. Next year they don't have to pay for the stage and all because whatever entry actually making a performance and not just some lame boring stuff will get punished anyways. So for next year let's have Eurovision out in the woods with no special effects so we can have 40 Jazon Mraz copies fake playing guitar one after the other Zzzz

It's a great song and all, but it just wasn't performed well enough.

So the songs doesn't matter any longer basically? In a supposed "song" contest..

But yeah... I agree the performance became a mess unfortunately :(

Unfortunatly even a great song needs at least a decent live performance and Magda's performance tonight wasn't so good.

Agree. I wasn't surprised it didn't qualify, but it just feels bad when crappy songs make it though.

I think (since it's a song contest) bad songs should make it either, no matter how good the performance (read voices because performances were lame) was.

The same as a very bad performance shouldn't qualify, I think it should go both ways.. but unfortunately you can qualify with whatever crap entry as long you sing it well.

It's not that it doesn't matter. Good performances make a good song come out and pop, so it's a complementary relationship. Having a good song is like having a good theory, but it has to be implemented, to have an effect

I voted a few times for her but I had a feeling she wouldn't get through, perhaps she was nervous. Its a shame because she had one of the best vocal performances in the rehearsals!

Having a good song is sort of like having a good team on paper in team sports, you have to deliver a decent/good performance too.

Agree. But then it feels even worse when actual bad songs make it to the final.

I think it's equally bad with a bad song making it (no matter if the singer sang good).. because first and foremost this is a song contest.

I think it goes both ways; just as much a bad performance shouldn't make it, so shouldn't a bad song.. but the latter is obviously ok.

Oh boy, what was this? The performance was weak - too weak obviously. I liked that song very much, but Magdalena failed to present it well. What a pitty.

And what about having a bad song then? Because that's obviously no problem in a "song" contest..

So it's official... you can have the most crappy entry as long as you perform it "well" you will qualify.

Horrible camera work.
I'm glad Poland didn't steal anybody's place in the final.

Yeah, true that. I would rather have her and even Portugal rather than Greece. And Greece is one of those "bad" songs that was performed well
