Yeah, Roma took care of it, when he suggested my idea as it was his own, without telling me anything. But that all can't hide the truth, which I said today.

its not Roman's contest or someone's else. Its just WV spinoff, Roman suggested this idea and it won the poll. And it happened accidentely that Roman won previous spinoff and by rules should host the next one. [MENTION=13598]Veronika[/MENTION] if you think that Roman was disrespectful that stoled idea, I think now that you are doing also not good by making drama and saying "no, without my permision you shouldn't use my idea" towards people who liked this idea, voted for it and even sent an entry already
And its not like someone is going to create whole contest here, its just a spinoff

On other side, in defense of [MENTION=7176]RomanFromRussia[/MENTION], you should know, this is not all time contest! It is only one edition. People here are just suggesting possible themes in suggestion thread. It is not that when someone is giving suggestion for spin off, that she/he is "creator" of the idea or theme. It is not that "Live performances," "Moving Soundtrack", "Country randomizer" and many other themes are discovered here! And, this will only be one edition, not whole contest. It is not that whole forum "stole" your idea and that we have whole game based on your contest like WV, FSC or NSC. After all, when Roman suggested this idea, he nowhere stated that is creator or author of this idea, but he only gave suggestion for it.
I really must agree with all statements that once something is globally you can't stop it from further distribution.
Also, I do not think Roman had some big intention to keep this from you as after all, you are constant WV member and you already took part in some spin offs too so as WV game player you easily could find about this. After all, you have full access to all forums and sub-forums of WorldVision.
Furthermore, it is only coincidence that Roman is theme suggester and also host. He only has right to host because he won previous edition of Spin off so someone other also could open this thread without knowing anything about this.

In the end, I need to say, I do not think playing this spin off is illegal or unethical. Because...then this forum or any eurovision related game shouldn't exist as everything is idea of eurovision. Only unethical can be that Roman didn't inform Veronika on this...but then again, it is all publicly and anything is hidden, and both of them are constant WV members so it is also questionable...

In conclusion, I do not think you should "punishing" all nice people who love your idea and who voted for it and wanted this spin off to happen. After all, now we all know it is your idea and you have full credit for it. I hope we all together enjoy this great theme!

if the idea is used, it is used, and no matter how many times.
If I'd learned about it earlier, when people hadn't sent their entries yet (again, "thanks" to Roman, who told me nothing about it), it wouldn't have been a problem at all.

Someone comes up with a spin-off suggestion, and some editions later another person will suggest that very same idea. No one owns an idea, nor do they have to ask for permission to use someone else's idea. I can understand your frustration, absolutely, but this is just something that you will have to accept.

Having said that though, I don't exactly condone the way Roman went about it. A credit would have been appropriate.

Okk, we all give you support by this question and I think we all agreed that was not ok. But, Veronika, that is between you and Roman. And honestly, I think you shouldn't let one bad thing you have with him to overcome all amazing moments that you two have had. So, as it is only thing between you two, I think you and he should discuss it privately with respecting each other opinion. I really do not believe that Roman wanted to hurt you...I think all this situation is one big misunderstanding and I really suggest you to discuss it one on one.

But don't you think that is no sense and immature to punishing all people who voted for this option and mostly want this option because of issue you have with one person? So, all other persons have to pay for it? We need to start new spin off selection theme, new voting process, new songs selection, etc, etc...and all others need to do this complicate basically because of your thing with him... Honestly, (and saying that in best attention) I do not see you and do not have impression of you as person who would like to complicate so much to make difficults others...

I haven't got any problems, it's Roman who made himself a problem by suggesting my contest without mentioning me and telling me any single word, that's it.

For me it's an important thing, and on some other forums (including the forum where I host my contest) people understand it and if somebody's contest is hosted by someone else, it's only with the creator's permission or at least with a credit, if he's out of reach). As I've already said, it took me months to work on this contest. I've put a lot of effort into it.
And one more thing: I wanted to suggest this spin-off myself and even began translating the rules.
