Bear in mind that FSC had its debut on this forum in march 2009. The contest has therefore only been running for almost a year. The years before 2009 contains even more, perhaps even unexplored, treasures in the huge world of music. I suppose the 2000-edition will only allow entries released within a certain period, presumably from 1998-2002. That narrows the options a bit though.

"Aqua - Roses are red" isn't even eligible for me to send for the 2000-edition, as it was released in 1996. It wasn't eligible for the 90's edition, nor will it be eligible for the 00's edition. :evil:

Despite some of the limited, and somewhat annoying, rules of this contest I am personally looking forward to the next edition. After all I'm more of a 00's guy.

When ParadiseES started this contest on the old forum he said wen were going 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000, 1961 etc. So, its the 2000 edition next- songs from 1998-2002

I dont mind who hosts but, as the winner of the 1990 contest, can I make one request to the host of the 2000 edition- host the 2000 contest in Birmingham

Well ... seeing as no one else has stepped up, I can be the host until someone objects/wants to host it. This will at least force me to log in each day or two and prevent me from being late.

PM entries to me or email them to shawn underscore pickrell at yahoo dot com. I will put a deadline of entering of January 30. If we get eight entries I will proceed. I will assume/trust that whoever PM's me is eligible to compete for that country.

I have hosted similar contests in the past (albeit on another board.)

I will open a separate thread once it's confirmed I am hosting ...
