Actually, I can understand user's aim to bring up new countries and their music to this thread. But to be honest to pick up such uknown and faraway places is too much. No offense! If we do this just for joking, then call it Joke FSC ;)

I don't think so... I prefer to send something exotic rather something well known... I don't want to get either Azerbaijan, Albania or San Marino. Azerbaijan, because we already know so many songs from FSC, etc, and San Marino because there's only one song that I know, and honestly, everybody in this forum knows that song... New Zealand, maybe, because we don't have it in FSC and I know some songs that I really love from that country... But I prefer to pick Nauru or Palau! :?

Some people wanted this spin off to be full of ex-FSC participants that we all know, this is not the purpose of it! xsnooty

Nooo Fotiana, I mean that to pick such a hard countries for us is a joke. Of course those countries has their own music which can be very nice, but how I, a girl from :az: can find them? It will be very uneasy

Google! Just write "singers/music from Nauru/Zimbabwe/Kiribati or whatever" and it will give you at least a couple of singers/songs etc. It might be few because some countries have very few inhabitants, but so does San Marino! ;)

And as a person who listens to a lot of exotic music (I had a crush on Pacific islands music some years ago and I still remember many songs :lol:) feel free to ask me if you don't find any song from the country you'll be assigned to enter! ;)

Surely the whole point of a spin-off is to challenge yourself? Im hoping to get a country like Palau or Nauru because I know nothing at all about these country's music scenes, so it will be fun to find out and discover something awesome. Or we could just choose countries like Ireland, Sweden, Canada and Germany and just have a regular edition of FSC that will reek of unoriginality.

you cann't chose a country yourself. After the deadline CypriotGirl will make a randomization and pick a country to each participant
