Sorry but rules are rules, we can't have anyone joining in with the hosting job whenever they feel like. No problem in you helping Gamze but until Bacchus and Vedatistan confirm that they don't wanna host you're gonna have to drop the Kostanovia from the thread :p And if they don't wanna host then be my guest to do the joint hosting as you wish!

I suggest this, S&C should be named as the only host and Kostanovia will be the helping hand like in NSC 32 when Alinta helped St. Lotus or in NSC 56 when Scorpionia did the banners while VPS hosted! :)

Well, i'm not a lawyer and I'm not sure what the rules say, but i don't think that helping with banners counts as co-hosting. I was heavily against joint hosting, because it makes the contest unrealistic. The title thread has changed, the show officialy takes place in S&C, so it's ok for me and i don't see anyone breaking the rules anymore.
Freaky, no need to laugh at other people's needs...

Well if so, then the rules should have been changed in NSC 10 or maybe earlier. This is ALLOWED and should be so forever, cause everyone can't do banners or have the time of making them. We should help each other out if they need problem, that is why for example we have mods, helping out if they are any problems with the contest.

The fact you just called it a ''need'' just makes it even more ridiculous. I'm sorry, I really am, but it's just... I don't know... I guess am I bit more of a ''who cares?'' and ''take it easy'' kind of person. I don't bother with irrelevant things and don't understand it when people get upset because of such events.
Rules should be followed, that's alright. I just think there was absolutely no need to make such big fuss about it.

Exactly! I sorta agree with dogmeat here. Co-hosting can be done without giving the honor to both countries. Even though NSC 52 was held in Zoidiac I still deeply appreciate the helping hand from Zaprya. Otherwise I don't think I would've gotten through it.

It's imo more than that the Kostanovian delegation work behind the scenes but I fully agree that the role as host should only be dedicated to the winner of last edition.

Okay, everyone who finished 5th and higher has been asked, and all said no. Liam is officially cohost now so he can help with hosting. :)

I don't think it says anywhere that the help with the banners is disallowed...
In fact, I hope it's clear that the whole of NSC is very thankful and grateful for Liam's assistance of Gamze in preparation for NSC 58, and it's all still welcome, in the exact same way as Alinta in NSC 32, Instir in NSC 25, Zaprya in NSC 49 :D

The only thing members took issue with was the right of hosting not going in the order of results, as is customary :)
Any voluntary assistance is still 100% welcomed, it's just important to establish the difference between hosting and helping :D Thank you again Liam for your initial offer of support, and for taking this all so well. We're all still grateful, and your awesome graphics don't need changing at all ;)

For the record guys, in future, please PM any NSC-specific issues to the mods, not the admins (as they're busy with the wider running of the forum)

IMO the joint hosting marlarky has gotten out of hand. Liam offered services to help which hosts are always grateful for, perhaps they have been overexaggerated slightly on the title but NSC is a community and surely working together and helping one another out is good? I for example had TF100 help me host NSC11 which i was grateful for, although not listed as a co-host he did a lot of work and deserves some credit for the hardwork put in that edition. I think some people have a bee in their bonnet over the whole thing (both ways!), try and drop this arguement and enjoy the music :D
