Almost all countries have confirmed, so I guess mission is completed! Zoran's Island is the only country that seems very unlikely to confirm. There's a slight chance that the show will start today, all depending on when Zombira confirms.

Does that mean 59 entries or is it less due to some people failing to vote last edition? I'd be thrilled if the show started today.

No, Spila, Somborian Republic, and Bachistan have not confirmed, but that doesn't mean anything to the final list of participating countries as both of the debuting countries, New Acadia and Neajlovia managed to confirm.
56 countries would've been amazing, but 55 is quite an amount as well. I did my best to make everyone confirm in time, so my mission is almost accomplished. Zoran is out of the country at the moment so that's practically impossible anyway.
I'll let the deadline run out (23:00, roughly an hour left
) and I won't exclude the chance of both semis starting tonight, though it definitely seems more likely to start tomorrow.

Let me just correct myself: *We have 57 participating countries this edition.
The three countries that didn't confirm were Zoran's Island, and Doklea and Sillycone Valley for not being able to confirm at all.
Spila, Somborian Republic, and Bachistan (from what I've heard simply according to lack of interest) didn't confirm despite being able to. Therefore Spila's and SomboriaN Republic's spots on the roster have been given to the two debuting countries this edition, Neajlovia and New Acadia.

As quickly as possible, you can be sure about that. I'm working from 16:00-19:00 CET, so I hope I will be able to start it before then (more specifically aound 15:00 CET). Otherwise it will definitely be tonight.
I'll be working my ass off to get the semis started as soon as possible, so do not worry: The semis will start today!
