I still think we should not be so strict about deadline lenghts for final voting, confirmation etc... it should be up to the hosts...as we can tell it's a lot of work and should go along with the hosts free time IMO. I wouldn't mind if it's between 5-7 days (as it can be delayed by various reasons afterwards like we have this situation now)

but don't worry Emre.. take your time and I'm sure the wait will be worthy

Well, I don't think we should follow a strict schedule, but 7 (or 6) days should still be the minimum ;)

I don't see why we have to make up for "lost time" personally, since we don't follow a schedule :p

I don't see any point in starting with the announcments today, either. :p I'm actually happy that it got delayed cause now I'll be able to watch the whole revealing of the results. :D

OK, please do not start NFs and stuff yet :p
Obviously, I'm not gonna force those who have already started to close them  Seeing as it was kinda my fault they opened anyway  But for the sake of avoiding clutter, please don't open/announce any more :p

As for deadline lengths and stuff, well, I'm still a huge advocate for making sure we have 7 days. During one week, people will have different days free, so imo it's pretty important to allow for every day of that one week for voting, especially if it includes weekends. But I agree that there shouldn't be too much pressure on a host to act any quicker than they can, which is why any sort of rigid schedule would be a bad idea :p
