My laptop died so I don't have access to my full votes but I see my 12 Cygo and 10 Yaponesia have failed to qualify... Also 10 for Tanoiro.

Wow... at least i don't have to be sad for myself that i forgott to send my votes, now last instead of second last. Seems like i overestimated the magic of Ladysmith Black Mambazoo pretty hard, they didn't could distract with it from pop icon Jeremy Loops which is not welcome in NSC. ^^ I have a stronger feeling of possible success for my next entry anyway. Alltough this seems to mean nothing.

Oh... and good news also for the rest: My voting wouldn't have changed a qualifier, just would have brought Cherniya much closer to qualifying.

A very disheartening result for , not gonna lie! I found Dan Bull with "I'm Heading Out (Of My Mind)" very randomly and immediately found it amazing! If any other nation sent this, i would think it's one of those that easily stands out and resonates with lots of you, if not musically, then maybe lyrically or thematically or in a fun way... Sad to see it ended up as one of those filler entries when you don't know what to send and just throw this without much enthusiasm (don't get me wrong, i'm talking about my entries), when in reality I was so excited about participating with it... Yeah, NSC teaches us not to expect anything, but without it it's not fun, so it's a tough balance...

It was a tough semi perhaps as I see other great entries ending up close to mine there, so... maybe it's just such a sad fate for several of us this time...

Pleasantly surprised with the result, special kudos to everyone who sat through the 8 minutes and two ad breaks that came with it Despite the nonqual, we can call it a success.


And thanks so much for the high points from those who have revealed (although idk if WSN actually gave us pts or not, which was it huh? )

This song marks the first of a series of second chances for artists* that I’m resending from the “Your Sound” NFs I had 100 editions ago (129~134). So I’m looking forward to sending a few throwbacks for the next editions.

*(I didn’t actually consider Ice Top, but it was a similar song with several singers from Mongolia)

It so happens that I sent a different song at first, but that song was already taken, and managed to qualify! So I’ll be happily supporting it in the final this time instead! Good luck to it and everyone!

I've been listening to Amaral for more than 10 years, thanks to Prasia, back in NSC 41, when the band was first entered in the contest. Hope they'll achieve a better placing this time!
