xup Brilliant show and great line-up. I like almost all songs, don't think this hath ever happened before in any contest.

Not necessarily as long as it is clear the lyrics deal with a certain country. May I ask out of curiousity though what countries do the Lithuanian and the Croatian song refer to?

Oh. Thanks for the explaination. I thought title must contain the name of the country ( In That case, :hr: song would be against the rules, since the title translates as 'I give you my heart' ). There's a little mistake on :hr: banner too, song is called 'Dajem ti srce'. :p

:hr: song is refering to :hr: :p

I give you my heart, my country. And I will be with you through good and bad...

Great show again MrGerbear and cool, nice looking, banners... Good job! xcheer

So we got an English band singing about Japan, A Romanian singing about Panama (random), A Lithuanian singing about a whole continent? (Amerika is not just the USA!), A German singing about Greece (the irony), A French singing about Germany (the irony x2), A Belgian singing about Puerto Rico (random x2) and finally Britons singing about Big Mother Russia (the irony x3)

Btw just a small note: The Ukrainian singer's name should be Katya Buzhynska in roman letters (ж=zh, and ending the surname with "я=ya" is actually the Russian version of it, while in Ukrainian that last letter is not added) xthink :geek:

I thought the actual country needed to be mentioned in the title and/- or in the lyrics... from those lyrics I can't see an actual country mentioned xshrug

Well actually she does mention it at some point, but in Croatian :p

Chorus ends with 'Bog neka cuva moju Hrvatsku' = 'God save my Croatia' :)

By the way, I'm surprised to see England as a region in a FSC spin-off.

xthank for the show, nice banners!

:ro: entry says something like "My heart is beating for you but If you don't like it, just go to Panama WTF!"

Actually,it says Zboara in Panama ce pana mea maybe a Romanian can traslate it better because "pana mea" means "my penis"

Aha! Then it's ok, I still haven't got the time to listen to them all yet so... thanx for clarifying ;)

Actually "pana mea" is an idiomatism , I don't know how to explain it in english ... but it doesn't mean "my penis" :p .

I accepted "Amerika" because, colloquially, people DO refer to the United States when saying "America" (or an equivalent) in many languages (including English).

As for the mistakes, I will get on those as soon as I can. c:

If that is what is meant in this case there is nothing wrong IMO.

I am more wondering why :en: can take part.

Yeah, I reckoned that was the reason. It make sense (although that term is obviously mis-used in many occasions and languages, but yeah even here some people use it to describe the USA).

I personally couldn't see any mistakes other than the surname of the Ukrainian act which correctly would be Buzhynska, other than that it's a great show!

Yeah, I reckoned that was the reason. It makes sense (although that term is obviously mis-used on many occasions and in many languages, but yeah even here in Sweden some people use it to wrongly refer to the USA rather than the continent), so I guess if it refers to the country then it's ok.

This crossed my mind too, since England is already represented in the UK aswell so actually we got two English entries xthink

More like a German pretending to be French. xrofl3

Wait, Patricia Kaas is actually German?
