Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

Not sure I told you, but I really like your teeth
That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath
Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
See where you're going, but I don’t know where you've been
Is that saliva or blood drippin' off your chin?
If you don’t like the name Keith I'ma call you Jim
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wolf (Banana)

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Banana

I like the scent of every meal on your breath
That hunger in you, I'm in danger now, I guess
Let's go to grandma's, you say grandma tastes the best
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
(I want your grandma, yum, yum)
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wolf
Someone give that wolf a banana

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana

Ba-na-na
Ba-na-na-na-na
Ba-na-na
Ba-na-na-na-na

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
(I want your grandma, yum, yum)
Someone give that wolf a banana
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wo-o-olf

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana

Not sure I told you, but I really like your teeth
That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath
Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith

So I listened to all of the songs and all I can say is: Elsie Bay or bust. She could go straight to the Top 5 in Turin and has the only song that really grabbed my attention. And I think "Death of Us" appeals to the widest audience.

Everything else was pretty solid but not amazing. Some songs had more potential but are ruined by weird production choices, horrible lyrics or they just go nowhere.

First impression: Death of Us and Dangerous were standouts. Pre-show favorite definitely Elsie Bay.

Felt like there's lots of basic filler entries.

Laa lalaaa.. lala laa lala.. lalaaaaaaaaaaAaaaaa *KEY CHANGE* LAA LALAAA.. (LAAA) LALA LAA LALAAAA

Kim Wigaard - La Melodia = 9/10 🌹
Lily Löwe - Bad Baby = 8/10
Mira Craig - We Still Here = 7/10
Farida Louise - Dangerous = 7/10
Daniel Lukas - Kvelertak = 7/10
TrollfesT - Dance Like a Pink Flamingo = 7/10
Elsie Bay - Death of Us = 7/10 WINNER ALERT
Frode Vassel - Black Flowers = 6/10
Steffen Jakobsen - With Me Tonight = 6/10
Eline Noelia - Ecstasy = 6/10
Maria Mohn - Fly = 5/10
Oda Gondrosen - Hammer of Thor = 5/10
Alexandra Joner - Hasta la vista = 5/10
Anna-Lisa Kumoji - Queen Bees = 4/10
Christian Ingebrigtsen - Wonder Of The World = 4/10
Mari Bølla - Your Loss = 4/10
Sturla - Skår i hjertet = 4/10
Subwoolfer - Give That Wolf a Banana = 4/10
Sofie Fjellvang - Made Of Glass = 3/10
NorthKid - Someone = 2/10
Vilde - Titans = 1/10

Much la was had by all in Kim Wigaard's La Melodia. The whole thing is so kitsch that I just can't resist. I gasped as that key change happened in the final chorus. Bad Baby is solid and I do like it (enough for it to be my 2nd fave here anyway) but I'm not blown away. I think Jorn had a stronger offering last year. Still I'll listen to this one by Lily and I'm sure it can grow some more too. It's good!

Then I have a little handful of songs on 7 points which are varying degrees of pretty nice but each coming with a little something that puts me off. Death of Us is obviously the main contender here. The vocals on it make me want to hurl a brick so you'll notice I'm actually being very kind with my assessment of the song. It deserves some leeway as the composition is doing some nice things, although also a tad try-hard at points. Anyway, it's obviously a good option. Kvelertak is nicely done and a pleasant listen but the chorus drags a little. Nice synths though. We Still Here I think might be my fave composition on offer. It's super bouncy and rich. The chorus though sadly underwhelms but I feel this one will grow on me. Dangerous is a pretty decent ballad that's nice and moody. Dance Like a Pink Flamingo is ridiculous. I'll wait for the live performance to see if it's a kind of stupid I'm onboard with.

And nice job giving the songs I rate as most pants (not counting Death of Us which clearly deserves to be there) a free pass to the final. Kim Wigaard obviously should have been given all five free passes to the final. All hail king Kim Wigaard 🙌

Maria Mohn - Fly grew on me a lot, getting some lighter "Higher Ground" vibes, and I feel that with nice vocals and staging this could be high within televoters at ESC. But most probably she wouldn't even be in the MGP finals :(

Just listened to them all. Oh dear ... :(

"Death of Us" and "Bad Baby" are the only ones I can give pass marks to. Even then - they are still not going to blow everyone away. Although let's see how some of them look live - it CAN make a difference.

This was a really disappointing mix of bland , generic pap and over the top *NOISE*

Keiino will be kicking themselves #WrongYear
