Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

Not sure I told you, but I really like your teeth
That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath
Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
See where you're going, but I don’t know where you've been
Is that saliva or blood drippin' off your chin?
If you don’t like the name Keith I'ma call you Jim
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wolf (Banana)

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Banana

I like the scent of every meal on your breath
That hunger in you, I'm in danger now, I guess
Let's go to grandma's, you say grandma tastes the best
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
(I want your grandma, yum, yum)
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wolf
Someone give that wolf a banana

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana

Ba-na-na
Ba-na-na-na-na
Ba-na-na
Ba-na-na-na-na

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
(I want your grandma, yum, yum)
Someone give that wolf a banana
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wo-o-olf

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana

Not sure I told you, but I really like your teeth
That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath
Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith

Hammer Of Thor is now 4th in the bookmakers' MGP ranking.

Personally, I think the song even has a good chance of beating Death Of Us. In contrast to Hammer Of Thor, Death Of Us has absolutely no local elements, and I think her live vocal is more shaky than Oda's.

But against the mean Fenris Wolf, I'm not sure the hammer is a strong enough weapon. ;)

With every live performance we get, I feel like the banana wolves are becoming more and more likely to win.

Out of the 3 semi-finalist, Oda is most likely and probably will enter the top 4.

Ugh Norway stop sabotaging yourself. "Death of Us" just suffers in the odds because the performance couldn't live up to the potential while the rest has not much potential to begin with, so of course they look more "put together" in comparison.

How are the Subwoolfers supposed to sound good live? Their song is autotuned to hell and back it won't sound the same at all. The song also gets old really fast. They will only win because there are probably famous people under the masks. Because a famous name worked wonders last time, right? Almost didn't qualify.

And Hammer of Thor rising in the odds is wild to me. It's so cheap o_O And it only won because it had NO competition.

Hammer of Thor is rising in the odds because we haven't seen anything THAT great in three heats (pre-qualifiers included).
Is it the best song in this NF, no but it got the most appealing package (so far).

Let's wait for heat 4 but right now, I can fully understand why it's doing so great with the odds.

Just listened to the entries on Spotify (5 songs are geo-blocked for me though, need to locate them on youtube), the quality is really average or sub-par this year. Here are my general thoughts on certain songs:
  • I can see why Subwoolfer's entry is the favourite. It reminded me abit of Ylvis's "The Fox". A song with silly lyrics but packaged in a pretty good melody. With a memorable staging, I can see it winning.
  • I do like Alexandra Joner's song. Reminds me so much of "Baila Baila" from last year's Swedish NF. If the performance is good, I can see it doing pretty decent.
  • Kim Wigaard's song sort of stood out for me. The classical operatic-pop perhaps may help him.
I have nothing else to add for the rest as they are average (bland & forgettable) or just plain bad.

Edit 1:
Found the remaining 5 songs. Here are my thoughts on selected songs.
  • I find myself drawn to Steffen Jakobsen's song. It's so country which is not what I usually listen. But I thought it got a pretty decent tune behind it.
  • Sturla's song is pretty good, out of the ones in native language, this one stood out for me. It's contemporary and modern.

Edit 2:
Managed to catch up with the 3 SF. God, the performances are just not good. The PQ and the ones in the SF.
  • Daniel Lukas's song could have the potential 'live' if the performance is polished. But his dance moves are out of sync and he doesn't move in tandem with the dancers. It's so awkward.
  • Did the Hammer of Thor hit Oda's feet when she stole it? Because the part where she is howling sounds like it sure did.
  • The rest are really average, and some are poor bad (ie. especially Vilde, god it was painful).

MGP bosses were allowed to have 500 people in the audience during the final.
Not judging the quantity, it's still awesome to have live audience (y)

Heat 4 is pretty straight forward for me. There are two genre songs - "Hasta La Vista" and "La Melodia". Charming but nothing I will miss further on in the competition. Then we have "Fly" - a song with ethnic elements (which I generally appreciate), but there is something dated about it in that special Eurovision way. Despite its qualities, I would never have the song on my playlist, and I have it below the other ethnic song "Hammer Of Thor" which is more simple and crisp.

So that leaves us with Made Of Glass as a clear winner of heat 4. It's not my all time best Eurovision ballad but certainly among the very good ones. I expect Sofie to do well on stage.

Hammer of Thor staging looked pretty good already. It's both not my cup of tea, but I can see both Hammer of Thor and that Subwoolfer song get a good result at Eurovision. Both have the potential to be hyped and go big with at least the televotes.

Idk yet about Death of Us. Could be a Bulgaria from last year. More a juries song. Can see it go to the final as well, but maybe not top 10.

To me this is the best song of this selection, I don't understand what's so great about the frontrunners.
Hopefully she can deliver it live.

I agree. It's my favourite from SF4 together with "La melodia". If either qualifies, I will be pleased.

This song has everything I dislike about these latin pop "summer songs".
"Bla bla mamacita bla bla don't call me seniorita bla bla bla I'm so loco loco yeah yeah fire oh oh hasta la vista"

I can't believe people haven't accused this of being plagiarism because it sound so familiar. I'm so sure I've heard this before.
