What can I say?
I can't make her stay
When I know that she's so far above
How could she ever love someone like me
She's out of reach

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

She's so far out of this world
No way I could ever be with her
'Cause I know heaven's your home
That's where angels belong
And it wouldn't be fair
If I keep you down here

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able
And I need you to know
That it's okay to let me go
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Yeah I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And I'm still not sure
What you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able, so
Just let me go (I'm a, I'm a fallen angel)
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

Tumblr, mostly.
I'm sorry, but those are the facts. Tourette is not a mental disease. Look it up, if you don't believe me.
A patient can of course develop psychological problems because of the stigmatization due to the illness and even become suicidal, but that doesn't mean, he's mentally ill. So we shouldn't call him that. It's hard enough for them not to be considered as the "crazy" ones, because of the tics related to the disease, so we should be extra careful to not put them in a category where they clearly do not belong. That's the minimum of respect we owe them.
Having a neurological disability can often lead to depression, mental health issues, dark thoughts, etc. I wouldn't go over it lightly.

You are -factually- correct;however. Tourette's isn't a mental disability, just like how 'Asperger Syndrome' (or whatever it's called now) isn't a disability, and we should not treat TIX any different on a human level because of it. He's like us, just a bit different in his behaviour. So long as we remain aware that he is playing the Game of Life on a higher difficulty setting that most others.

I think his song sucks independently from his background tho oop...x

There is also ignore option. If someone doesn't like other people's opinions, it is so easy to click on ignore button. I've just used it. Moving on..

Ontopic.. Norwegians, u are in red marks, not green Marks on betting odds. This is the first time I've looked at odds this year. Are you surprised he isn't well received outside norway?

No but I don't really care either. We only got like 10 songs anyway.

Ukraine, of course
I'm sorry if you are upset now, that was not my intention.

I read your post very closely and I reread it again as you asked me to. So...

I was first reacting to one of your posts where you didn't speak of a suicide attempt (which is not a mental disease per se either) but where you were talking about mental health issues in regard to TIX who was being discussed in the posts before as somebody who has the Tourette syndrome.

You said he wants to inspire other people who suffer from "it". So this "it" can't be mental health nor a suicide attempt because you cannot suffer from either of these, you only can suffer from a disease. And your use of the word "other" in this context implies that there is at least one person who suffers from this disease in the first place (otherwise the "other" makes no sense). Therefore I assumed you meant TIX as someone who suffers from the disease of tourette (as this was the only disease that was mentioned in the ongoing discussion about him) and who wants to inspire others (who also suffer from it). This seemed to me the most coherent conclusion in the context I replied to you. Following this you clearly made the equation between "mental health" and "tourette" as being an issue of it. Therefore I felt the need to make it clear that tourette is not an issue of mental health.

I don't think I mixed things together on the contrary I try to keep those notions apart from each other.

But we can stop here, if you want - I didn't want to attack you.
I was actually referring to this post
Ohh it's horrible idea when artists emphasize their sad stories, conditions, backgrounds for some pity points. There were disabled singers and with sad background before and they didn't emphasize it.

This is still SONG contest. Let his song speak about his results. I wanna hear great music, the best from every nation. Right? Norway?

If you don't like my Post, click ignore button or link me part of my Post that u don't agree with so we can have healthy conversation. :sneaky::giggle:
Therefore, he didn't mention either Tourette's syndrome or OCD.
So we're cool.😉

Tix currently has 13 songs in the Norwegian Top 200 on Spotify. The top 2 (the Norwegian chart top 2, not just the Tix top 2) are the English and Norwegian versions of his MGP entry.

Unbelievable, altho I think some of the explanation is that people who haven't listened to him before his win are now checking out his other songs as well.

We get that. Norwegians Love and adore him. He is your idol. We get that on Saturday. But until his song reaches top 3 in uk, malta or any other european country who could vote for him it's pointless. You know what I mean.. if he is so rich to shower in Money while literally there are kids in africa starving and dying, if he is so famous in norway why does he need esc. Also, btw, there were disabled polish singer in wheelchair, Julia samoylova and others with sad stories and they didn't emphasize it and they have much worse type of disability. Btw, ticks isn't a disability if someone needs clarification. This is SONG contest. Also on video showed up on twitter, he was talking normally, no ticks no nada. Maybe he had mild or minor form of it. If i was him, the last thing i would do is to apply for esc knowing that Norwegians adore me and knowing that i had mental issues and knowing how strong monument is and how much loved they are in europe. I would focus everything on therapy sessions with several psychiatrists trying to help be mentally as strong as possible. I don't know reasons why he chose to apply for eurovision. Maybe Norwegians can tell us why because they know a lot about him.

This is just uncalled-for bitterness, meanness and butt-hurtness on acids. For f*** sake, just let it go. 🙄

I have nothing against Keiino, aside from their 2019 entry (didn't even bother to listen to this year's song, I only look up each country's winners). But your comments just makes me dislike them a bit more, to no fault of their own.

After watching Monument in its entirety for the first time today, I'm flabbergasted that it wasn't chosen to represent Norway. I'm really not trolling Tix or disrespecting his performance, but side by side the Keiino song is absolutely fantastic and in my opinion, it's head and shoulders above Fallen Angel. I really didn't enjoy Keiino's last entry so I'm looking at this from a neutral viewpoint before I'm attacked by TIX stans. Don't attack me but I'm shocked. It really could've won ESC 2021!

There are also some serious ESC heavyweights in semi final one, so I think it could struggle to qualify :(
