Norway NORWAY 2021 - TIX - Fallen Angel

Wow, people spend 40 minutes of their lives listening to Tix interviews. Lol
Okay, I’d like to share something here. 
I’d been a big ESC fan for more than 15 years, but after the ESC 2019 final my interest towards the contest quickly began to fade. Then it just disappeared, not clear for what reason. This year I even thought about not watching ESC.
But the other day I decided to listen to all this year’s songs... just for the record.
And when I heard «Fallen Angel», something about it really touched me. All of a sudden, a long ago asleep ESC fan woke up in me.
By the way, at that time I knew absolutely nothing about the artist and his story (now I know, watched some interviews etc).
None of Eurovision songs appealed to me like that for years, I must say. I am still in shock, and I can hardly believe it. I’m experiencing such a long-forgotten feeling: I sincerely and with all of my heart support a certain country at Eurovision, and also feel something like an emotional connection with the artist. It's not just the best song of the year to me, but also the one that really sunk into my heart.
Can't wait to follow the rehearsals, and for the semi-final itself, of course. In order to cheer for Norway properly.
Btw, in all my ESC fan experience Norway becomes my favorite of the year for the 4th time already, like none of the other ESC countries (2 times at most).

@Veronika: ESC 2018 was amazing and ESC 2019 was very generic and dull. It felt so plastic and the result was so mainstream-ish and boring. For me, 2019 did not sit right because there was nothing special about anything and all the quirky and interesting song were eliminated early.
About Tix: His song has healing qualities. He has healed himself through his music and now he is healing us all.

I can't even properly explain it, since I really don't know myself why I love Fallen Angel so much... Like, it's not the most original melody, nor lyrics.. Andreas is not the world's best singer, the performance is not something never seen before, and yet everything makes sense to me..
Norway is my favorite of the year for the third time in a row, just getting close to Italy (4).
I tried to make an effort, because even if I really don't like the song, I do think it's important he is raising awareness on tics and I'm curious about what he has to say about it.I could be watching and listening to him for hours. Seriously, how gentle / smooth voice he has. He could be hired for telling tales to kids before sleep.
But 52 seconds into it she is already pretending to be crying about the video clip and I just can't.

people were just pissed about Keiino not winning I think so they wanted to hate on Tix.
It would be kinda poetic if he wins lol

Same as Veronika and you. Sometimes we just fall in love with a song and an artist and we just cannot explain why. That's just how it is. Last time it happened to me was in 2018 with Italy (especially Ermal Meta). I caught myself crying to the song without understanding a word of it and without knowing what it was about. The emotion was just here and learning what the song was about and learning about Ermal Meta's story just added to the magic.
It's an experience that cannot be explained and I'm happy to live something similar again thanks to TIX. I'm wishing him a similar result (because I remember everyone around me saying Italy would do a bad score and I was absolutely sure it would finish top 5. The rest is history) !
