What can I say?
I can't make her stay
When I know that she's so far above
How could she ever love someone like me
She's out of reach

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

She's so far out of this world
No way I could ever be with her
'Cause I know heaven's your home
That's where angels belong
And it wouldn't be fair
If I keep you down here

Here in the dark inside the hole in my heart
I'm fighting all of my demons tryna tear me apart
And I'm still not sure what you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able
And I need you to know
That it's okay to let me go
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Yeah I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
And I'm still not sure
What you ever saw in me

No, I'm a, I'm a fallen angel
Tryna fly, but I'm not able, so
Just let me go (I'm a, I'm a fallen angel)
'Cause no matter where my heart is
There's no way I'll ever
Reach up to heaven
To you

I don't understand why people continue finding something negative in things which are absolutely not associated with nowadays.

P.S. TIX's russetid are really good. I watched some lyrics- yes, there are some sh*t which may be unacceptable in normal songs (but russetid seem to be in slightly different category) but Andreas wrote that all that things are actual for people who listen to such music so I don't see problem in it because TIX's words are really true.

P.P.S. Oh, somebody make me stop listening to his songs, please. It has gone too far because he is my top 3 among artists in Spotify (but I have been listening only during last 3 days:LOL:)

why can't he perform like this just him behind the piano, we do not need all these wings and devil dancers, and the juries need them even less. I doubt they'll change it tho, it's just sad that they have a good song ruined by cheap and distasteful staging.

I'm not a huge fan of this but I'm very very happy that Monument lost. I wasn't a huge Keiino fan anyway, but when I heard that they wrote Monument in such a way as to maximise vote gaining from the juries I completely turned off that song. It's so disingenuous. Yes the Eurovision is a contest, but music should come from a desire to spread a message from the heart. Whether that's a message of love or politics or a message of dancing and happiness, it doesn't matter. Writing a song that just ticks the boxes for the jury is cynical and worse, imo, than joke entries. Monument deserved to fail and unfortunately I can't see us being free of Keiino yet.

Okay, not that I hate Keiino or Monument to death, but... would you like to give me receipts? Or is it available in one of their 'making of Monument' videos?

Just in case he could avoid yelled at once more for copying Arcade's performance, he should not just simply do that

Maya Sar was singing behind the piano in 2012.. so did Duncan copy her?
Melovin was singing behind the piano in 2018...
another copy?
I don't know why someone is talking about copy? What will happen for e.g. 5 years - artists will need to bring magicians, or jump in water, or jump through the fire rings? Because I suppose we will see everything possible?
In my opinion NO. Every artist, every country, every producer needs to do as they imagine it.
In this song this staging with TIX and demons, then wings, chains etc. is bingo, if you ask me.
So if we will try to find who else had wings, let's put on paper all possible types of scenes and coreographies to see who did use that "copy-paste" thing.
Ridiculous.

The lyrics are just the truth tbh ;; It what happens during that time of the year. The youth are crazy in May, he is just writing about it.

That's not speaking from my personal feeling about this, but there will be locals that would make such comparisons, I fear.

I agree with @Journalist. I think the song needs the staging it has now, the styling. That's TIX. It seems absolutely who he is. Changing any of the flamboyancy for something more conservative would take away a big part of the charm the entry possesses. The performance is memorable and most importantly feels sincere. And it's that sincerity I think that's gradually allowing me to appreciate the song more and more. I'm still unsure how it's going to do at the contest, but his style is a big part of the appeal here. Keep the wings and demons!

Also, since WHEN have ESC fans been against flamboyancy? Just doesn't compute.

My objective critics, totally unbiased:

The staging must change in order to give this song a chance to qualify.
Roko had the same issue. If you are giving me a flamboyant staging but a song with serious message, it's hard to connect with the message because there is so much distraction. You expect a twist into a joke act, but by the time the song's over, you realize he's dead serious.

At least when the song was in Norwegian, I thought the lyrics must be somewhat funny so that's why Norwegians are so into it. In English that's not the case.

The lyrics in Fallen Angel are already quite subtle, and most people watch ESC unattentively, how do you expect people to focus on the lyrics and understand your deep story with a Barbara Dex winner outfit?
Get rid of the wings sis, sometimes less is more.

Sorry but unless major changes are happening, is so not qualifying to the final. The song didn't even chart in the neighboring Sweden, I doubt they will receive high points even from them.
