I do really hope Norway gets to the final this year. There are a lot of better songs this year, and I know it wont win. But I want it to get far. The song is kinda catchy and Tooji is such a sweetheart :)

Tooji, this year's Norwegian representative in Eurovision, will be giving a miniconcert next Thursday, April 19th at the Jessheim Storsenter in Jessheim, near Oslo. Fans will also have the chance to get an autograph after Tooji's performance.

If this song were to represent for instant Azerbaijan, what would you give it then?
Sorry, but bashing a song because of Toojis ethnisity influenced the song, is just not good enough reason if you would have liked it to represent another country. If you don't like the song because it is utter crap (it really is!) I would understand, but you come across as very narrow minded and judgementfull.

I have to concur with Hegepege ... It's no rule that countries should choose a style which represents their identy/country best ... (I can't think of the songs Belgium would send o_O).

Agreed. However, some countries lost their identity in this contest, right?

I don't think so. ESC is not a folk music festival. If a musician/songwriter is inspired by folk music or embracing different cultures, it's fine, that makes the music diverse and interesting in my opinion. We live in a multicultural society, of course that refelcts in the music industry. However, Toojis song is crappy anyway. Not because of the persian touch, but because it is a typical swedish production. Like many other countries have this year. It really worries me that EBU allows a very homogenic group of people write songs for 10-12 countries, THAT is what really takes identity away from the contest.

a VERY catchy song from Norway and whether you want to call him Saade or not, this guy can bring it on stage.. even if it is a swedish production.. people will decide! :D

The song itself is banal. And seriously...when will they send a song that has something to do with Norway?? "Haba haba", "Fairytale" (which seemed a russian ballad), and I can still remember "Quiero bailar contigo" o_O

Oh god, what have they done with this song.
I'm not sure is it mentioned already but in the beginning there is only like melody, Tooji voice is like in background.
And in the end no with high voice "I want you to STAY". :(

We don't know much yet but Peter Boström has confirmed that it is wrong version on the CD. The version of this digital publication is a singback version. What happens now is unclear.
