Semifinal 2 will be a piece of art in the same level as SF1 of 2012.

No one strikes me as a >50% qualifer, but I'd go with Andrea / Kaly, they both at least have a song that can be further worked upon.
Oh well. This is a weak selection. Not as bad as Ireland, but still. The most for me accessible song is from Kaly. Yon Idy is okay, so is Andrea. But none of them would make it into my top 10 for sure. Maybe I am too tired from the day, I will listen to the songs tomorrow again and I may find them more pleasing ..

The two songs I enjoyed here for very different reasons:
Lara - Flowers of Sorrow
Viktor Apostoloski - Superman
Too early to say but I really see Lara in the final if they include or change some elements in her song. Really enjoyable anyway.
Viktor's song is so bad it's good, ESC is all about entertainment and I was more entertained by this than by any other song here
The song has no content but it's very catchy and he is really charismatic!!

So the problem with Flowers of Sorrow is I'm automatically comparing it to Proud, Fall From The Sky and the unbeatably stunning Brod Sto Tone (forever remembered in my world as the ultimate NF robbery). Flowers of Sorrow starts gorgeously but then just sizzles when the chorus hits. You're expecting something massive but it never comes, and then the song just ends. It's a pleasant listen but I don't think the piece is going where it needs to venture. It's the kind of entry where I should be slain afterwards, gasping for air and yet I'm very much alive. Poor @Morocco2021 though *lays down flower of remembrance*
Circles is alright but it's also quite mid. Having said that it does perk up for the final minute and becomes more effective. The music builds and becomes rather rich towards the end. This should be a grower for sure and might be the best option available as it's contemporary, certainly anyway when put side by side the others. Give me more time with it.
Love and Light is unusual. If you told me it was a Eurovision song from the mid 00s I'd forgotten about I'd believe you. I think it's the most unique song here but it's a tad messy and also ends too early. I think it will grow on me though and possibly become my favourite.. maybe. I don't know. This NF has me all confused.
Welcome to Yon Idy's kitchen. He has bannanis and avocaodis. I think Dreams has some potential. As it is now it's too bare. It's crying out for a revamp. It's got a fine, quite haunting melody however and there's very much something to work with here.
Nobody asked for Macedonia's answer to Gangnam Style but here it is, and actually it's quite amusing. Superman made me smile anyway, but I have to be honest and say that the song isn't my thing. A bonus point however for how charismatic the guy is.
Flying to Berlin is cute and has its charms but I think would be utterly hopeless at the contest.
I can't remember the last time an NF was this close for me. I don't think I have a preference. Flowers of Sorrow seems the safest bet on paper but it's not as good as its predecessors which I think could be its downfall. Circles and Dreams are both possibilities, the latter I think needs a little spruce up. Superman will depend on its live performance and just how entertaining it is. The other two I think are non starters unfortunately.

Stop organising a national final when all entries are shit.
Just choose an entry. See it fail in May and call it a day but don't make Eurovision fans listen to such crap.

We have very cringy trashy scripted reality shows here in Germany and "Circles" sounds like the opening song to one of those :'D Everything else just sounds like Eurovision songs back in 2010 or just trash. Especially Superstraight.

Well it isn't as boring as Ireland's NF but it isn't very exciting either.
My favourite is probably "Dreams", though I don't think it would get them out of the semi in ESC. But it was from the better ones.
