I have a new #1. It perhaps should've been there from the beginning, but there was something about the way the rehearsal made me feel and what she managed to accomplish even in such a short clip. She was so...composed. So poised. It felt like she was telling us, "here I am, over a decade in the making, ready to come back and slay." It came on my Eurovision playlist this afternoon, and I left it on repeat for half an hour. I feel so lucky to have seen so many points of the journey she's taken as a performer, and this feels like that journey at its very pinnacle. I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see more in the next couple of weeks.

Totally unrelated thought: I think it's PERFECTLY OKAY to believe all of that and also say that unless there's some cool performance effect she's going to have with it, it's only thanks to Belgium that she's not an early Barbara Dex contender.

Personally, I think Tamara was the winner of the first rehearsals

and it is becoming ever so clear Macedonias chances are contineuing to build up 14th now inthe odds and I wouldnt be surprised if it continues to grow depending on second rehearsals.

I wouldn't call it a sure qualifier. North Macedonia's got its chances to qualify increased, for sure... but personally, I don't think that the song itself is strong enough to compete against all these amazing entries in semi 2. It really depends on the other performances as well.

Please please please qualify! North Macedonia has sent way better entries since their last qualification but they clearly stepped up their game this year. It’s a great start!

I would be happy to see them qualifying again because of the unsuccessful last 6 years, underrated country imo. I liked 2017 and 2018 entries much more than this one, but I would be happy. It was in my 30th place before the rehearsals and now it's in my 23rd place.

Why has this clicked with me so much in the last couple of weeks. I have to say that Tamara Todevska is one of the best singers in the competition this year, I believe every word when she sings, that's rare in a singer.

I'm still trying not to get too optimistic over Macedonia's chances here (because, well, it's Macedonia). I actually placed a bet against them qualifying just yesterday.

But Proud is a great song and I'd love to finally see the country back in the final after seven years, so I would very happily be wrong and lose my $3 if it means a qualification

They apparently thought that in the year after Toy, yet another song about female empowerment would be a great idea. They just forgot to make it catchy and interesting. Having a message is not enough. The song is lacking and I don't care about yet another song with this same old message. 0 points.
