No explanation needed - Bjørn is on top of the charts in Norway and his song is adored by all the radio stations. They also adores to introduce his song as "the true winner" when they play it.....
There's a reason Bjørn came in 4th (after only qualifying to the final by going through the Final Chance round), getting bottom marks out of the Final 4 from practically every single region (be it by jury or televote):
His live performance? Not so good.
He has a weak-ish live singing voice (he's not bad, but he's
clearly inferior to Didrik, who really shines during the final 2/3s of the song. Meanwhile, Bjørn keeps going off-key even during the easy-as-heck-to-sing verses). Also, listen to Didrik's NF final performance, not his semi-final performance. He's decisively better in the final). Meanwhile, Bjørn has absolutely no charisma on stage. He stares into the camera with a bored/vacant look while wearing what can only be described as "street" clothes while a bunch of guys in "street" clothes break dance (not something that's going to impress the judges or anyone above the age of, oh, 25)... it was not a very flattering or elegant look. The cap hid what was a pretty cute hairstyle that would've helped endear him to the viewers, especially the younger female demographic. Contrast this to Didrik's stylish suit, his smiles and his flirty eyes. Yeah...
Bjørn has a better
song, however. When played on the radio, Bjørn's song is more relatable, more universal in its appeal. It's got a modern sound like young peope like, a generic pop feel. It's a song that can be played in clubs and that people can dance to Meanwhile, Didrik's song is a pop ballad that's not for everyone's everyday listening. It's also a song you can dance to.
So, Bjørn had a better song, but Didrik had a better
performance (stage presence, charisma, voice, clothes, background show). I can
guarantee you that Bjørn would fare much worse at ESC than Didrik is going to fare.

Didrik, on the other hand, is not present on the charts and even officially banned form one radio station. Guess it says it all...
What does being banned from one radio station have to do with anything? The song itself in no way deserves to be banned.
The winning song not being #1 (or charting the highest out of all NF songs) on the local charts is a common phenomenon. Heck, that's even true for some Eurovision entries (sometimes a non-winner charts higher than the winner). It's the same for Sweden. Some songs are better heard/seen live than heard on the record. Some performances are just that much more powerful live.
They are both winners, one has a superior song that is doing better commercially. The other has a superior live performance that is being hyped as a contender for winning the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. There's no reason to hate one over the other, they're both good in their own ways.
