KoK, they were not good and they had a very bad behaviour a whole week after the final. They were screeming and yelling a lot about NMGP and ESC, the whole sh... as they call it!

And Didrik has a much better voice than Ben in A1. We'd shoose him and there is nothing to do about that.

We don't expect him to win, but to make a good place.
Perhaps amongst top 10. :)

This is a lie. KoK haven't said anything bad about MGP, and they were thrilled that they got so many votes. And you've probably misunderstood their use of the word sh*t, as it can also be used to describe something good, like "this was some good sh*t" (this was good), or "this is the sh*t" (this is the best). So even tho you obviously hate KoK, there's no need to spread lies about them. They've added some new flavour to the whole contest, and I hope we'll see more acts that really stand out next year as well. Your favorite won, KoK did far better than they expected, and everyone should be happy. Ok? :)

I'll probably go see KoK and Mayhem live in Trondheim in a few months tho. :D

If Norway should bring it to the next (extreme) step Mayhem would be the perfect choice. Once Mayhem has entered ESC nothing will ever stand out again.

If it happens that black metal will ever again be represented in MGP (or in ESC as a whole as it would most likely be from Norway) I guess Dimmu Borgir would stand the best chances in ESC. Their music is far more mainstream and appealing to a general public than KoK for example.

No that is not a lie, may I ask.. are you reading Norwegian news papers every day (VG) is one of them.
They were very angry and said things like.. Hel... , GP, etc.
So don't tell me again that i am telling lies

haha I think the Norwegian media are just like the Swedish when it comes to MF/MGP/ESC...
Instead of "Screaming" they might have said that MGP is not really their forum and that it's no chance on earth they would have won.
When they say " JÆ....A, MGP" I guess they were "Angry" (more dissappointed) that they didn't won, but still happy with being 3rd! :)

You are not the one who is telling lies but media has it's own way of turning the news to something else than what it originally was. :p

About the Norwegian ESC-song, it's pretty good, will have a lot of jury votes but I won't vote for it on the night.
8 points though, good job once again Norway! :)

I read both Adressa and VG every day, but I trust Adressa far more than VG, because VG will write pretty much anything to sell more. And they haven't said anything bad whatsoever about MGP in Adressa, which is the local news paper in Trondheim (where KoK are from). So if you're not lying, then you're believing lies. Which isn't really much better imo... But Schlagerman1 explained this pretty well, so I won't go on about it. :)

But about the link you posted, the headline wasn't a quote from KoK, it was the writer who tried to insinuate that MGP is becoming a place for the darker music, and Hell isn't an unfamiliar place in metal. ;)

I don't want to discuss with you. As a Kok fan just see what you want to see.. <It is up to you>..
I've noticed, you just want to feed people lies. And I feel I have to inform people about the truth. Can't say I want to discuss with you either tho, I don't think we've ever agreed on anything music related... Ever...

I don't think you read my first post after the final:

Well, at least we won't have to worry about hosting ESC2011. That, and the fact that a metal band got over 200000 votes in MGP are the only good outcomes of this. Which is pretty good, when I think about it. :D

I'm actually quite happy that KoK didn't win the whole sh*t (see what I did there?), they've already won as far as I'm concerned. They've gotten new fans in all ages, they've gotten a top 3 result in MGP, and they've made metal more accepted to the general public. You probably don't know it, but (black) metal is one of the biggest cultural exports from Norway, and it would have been nice to show Europe what we're really made of up here in the cold north, but it seems like the teenagers who votes these days doesn't appreciate quality music when they hear it. Which isn't really that shocking. But my bottom line is this: KoK are already winners. :D

Oh, and remember, this is coming from someone who usually listens to trance and techno, which is about as far away from metal as you can possibly get in the music industry...

Morty!

Of course I'm reading what you are writing. Why shouldn't I..?
But what more is it to say about KoK, they are not our representative.

I don't mind if KoK try again next year or later even if i don't like too much of metal, myself......................... (sh*t isn't my word)

Taste is taste, so different, nothing we can do about that except to respect eatch others opinions. :)
