Next Spin-off suggestions

SUGGESTING AND PICKING THE NEXT THEME
1. Everyone can suggest up to two themes for the next spin-off edition.
2. The suggestions can be posted as soon as the final round poll for the previous edition is closed and until the deadline announced by one of the moderators (usually the same day as the show deadline for the current spin-off edition).
3. You can pick any theme that has previously been suggested, but not one that was already suggested by someone for the upcoming poll.
4. The next edition's spin-off theme will be decided by poll voting, usually in two rounds.
5. If one of the suggestions has an overwhelming majority in the poll, the voting will be closed after the first round.
6. If there's no clear majority, the suggestion with the most votes, alongside the one with the second-most will advance to the second an final round. If more than one suggestion has the same number of votes, all will advance in the final round.

I think that the first spin-off should be a "light" one. No need to throw in something as difficult as country randomizer. That's my opinion.

I agree with that , that's why I didn't suggest it myself!

I don't think having mystery spin off is a good idea either!
Also, worst songs spin off is not a good idea either for the first spin-off!

What about "Regions spin off"? In that spin off only regions are allowed to take part!

My suggestions for the 1st spin-off contest:

1) U.S. states songs
2) Latin (Central & South America, Caribbean) songs
3) Very old ('50's, '60's, '70's) songs

If you join the spin-off for one edition, would you have to take part in all editions that follow? Can you skip one here and there and just join the editions you like?

No, all spin-offs are completely optional. You can participate in one and not participate in another without any consequences.

Not too big on the whole theme thing, especially if it's a country randomizer thing or a worst song edition and what have you.

No, spin-offs are optional so you can take part in some of them, skip others etc.

Lately, I've been answering questions from random WV members about the rules and such... but I'm not a mod... so a real mod comes later and answers the same question even though I already gave an answer

Oh, now I checked all the posts (in our forum) and we had 4 mods from 26th - 28th September 2 but there was much more job in the beggining since we had to discuss a LOT of things.

croatia won that contest (with excellent entry by kopachka)
if we will have it here as well, i will probably take a shot at it cause we have more good participants for that

i took part in 3 spin offs in fsc by now
the point is that u take part only in those where u can send a decent entry and skip the ones where u have no idea what to send


anyways, i will repeat my suggestions from fsc:
boring songs
annoying songs
songs from musicals

You should listen to me... No worst songs, boring songs, annoying songs etc... :?
We should start with something normal first. :?
