Unfortunately, we've run into our largest slump of New Acadian history, qualifying for the finals only once since NSC 84, with R.U.T.A. in NSC 89.

The French in this song is very different from the French you're used to hearing in France or even in Québec. Mostly spoken in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, this dialect evolved independently due to its relative isolation from other pockets of the French language. This kind of French versus the one spoken in France would be similar in comparison to a deep Mississippi or Louisiana accent versus a British accent. Enjoy!
