Welcome back to the Griffin Empire, this time to the very east of the country - to the city of Planigslæting, which crouches just below the famous Sübmonss mountain. This is the eleventh largest city in the Griffin Empire, and is located in the historic duchy of Dnimdjermadnait whose name tells you directly what to expect - mountains and nothing but them. Dnimdjermadnait or literally the Land of Mountains is the southwest region of the Griffin Empire and the fourth duchy of the great principality Õklingsmaa. The city itself has about 675,122 inhabitants, and the wider metropolitan area exceeds one million. This city was chosen among several cities from the province of Õklingsmaa, which was honoured to host this competition again thanks to Astrid S, who brought it home.

This city in a valley at 213 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountains is known in the Griffin Empire as the second capital of the Natian Alps, right after Ansèth in Pyreica. It has hosted the Natian Winter Games several times, and in addition to its mountain atmosphere and love of snow and winter, Planigslæting is also a renowned university center with around 160,000 students. The city has four international research centres and is also the largest centre for nanotechnology research in Western Natia.

Expectedly, the dense atmosphere is also reflecting in our song choice. For the 232th edition of WLSC, we are sending a song full of empowerment messages that can also be interpreted with a touch of protesting subtext against the government.

Nevertheless, it's a banger.

1) Absolutely yes, I have been humming it while making the logo.
2) Also, yes, kinda. My favourite name in Griffin lore is "Uegötõlõrõtschwebegradtschwarödvorec" - a hospital in Göldtsit.

Also Barish actually reminded me that this theme is the total opposite of Solentoya, so yeah, that coat for the beach is back.
