Yeah, I think this is the important information here. @Lenalite confirmed that the entry had been received, so it should be part of the contest imo.

@CypriotGirl could you post your entry here so anyone who needs to vote early can listen to it while we figure this out?

If the edition has just started, then I can see two scenarios: add Oussou Empire as a last-minute entry to semifinal 2 because it has one fewer entrant, or give the country prequalified status next edition as compensation for the error

I see no problem adding the entry from CypriotGirl, no one has voted yet.

However, I do not like the attitude and the delivery in which it's been brought to attention.

You clearly failed to email it properly and you should take full responsibility. I do not accept anyone discrediting my hosting, sorry. Everyone who submitted an entry in any of the delivery methods I mentioned in the first post of the thread got their entries confirmed. As easy as that. Thank yew.

Sorry if I sounded disrespectful, but I was disappointed to see that there was an error and my email didn't go through, as I'm having some issues with it recently, that's why I was asking if my entry was received. I don't use discort either, so I couldn't think of any other way to send my entry. There wasn't any update on the confirmed entries until some hours before the show was posted, otherwise I would have noticed that my entry wasn't in the confirmed list and I would have taken action to send it again and this situation wouldn't exist.

No worries, maybe I read it in a different tone. Adding one more entry in the first days of the show literally costs nothing. I'd have added you even if you had missed the confirmation deadline. I am not so strict about deadlines.

I think this is a good opportunity to remind everyone that if a host's inbox is full, you can re-send your PM with a mod added to the list of recipients and that will make it go through to the host's inbox!

(I'll do my best to remind people of this whenever someone posts about a full inbox.)

Someone also asked me if we can revisit the idea of having a dedicated mod account for NSC confirmations to avoid this situation, so I'll get on that soon.

Definitely, I think tagging the dedicated Mod along with the confirmation to the host Nation would make a lot of sense - it would ensure that the PMs are always delivered.
