Only 32 songs submitted..?
I'd expected quite a lot more...
They may all turn out to be brilliant though
I think Georgia only had around 15 songs submitted a few years, and still most of the entries in the Georgian final were amazing
Actually, 32 submitted songs is a new record for Montenegro.
It's the 7th time that Montenegro asked artists to submit their songs and it's the highest amount of entries they've ever got, e.g.
2007: 16 songs
2009: 22 songs
2017: 27 songs
2018: 31 songs
2019: 27 songs
2022: 30 songs
2024: 32 songs
Also, they said that they'd also accept more entries which might be "delayed" due to postal issues (?)
Lets hope Ralph Siegel is not among those 16 chosen but I am very scared he might!
Oops now I feel bad about what I just wrote. Hope he'll get better soon.I don't think that Eurovision is on his agenda at the moment since he got diagnosed with cancer once again
Ralph Siegel ist erneut an Krebs erkrankt
Ralph Siegel kämpft erneut gegen Krebs. Ehefrau Laura berichtet von "unfassbaren Schmerzen", aber auch von Plänen für den 80. Geburtstag.www.stern.de
It's the fourth (4th!!) time, he got diagnosed with cancer and this time, the cancer made one of his thoracic bones break and that's why he needs to rest/shouldn't be leaving his bed etc.
I hope he gets well soon - but yeah, that's why I believe that he didn't submit any songs he co-penned or produced to any NF this year.
