Montenegro: RTCG planning a return in 2012!
According to sources close to our partner site JanelaESC.com, Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG will return to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012!
After the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Montenegro withdrew after three lackluster results and some financial difficulties faced by the broadcaster. Today it’s been confirmed via well informed sources that the country is already included in the preliminary list, which will become final in mid-December. Despite the intention to participate, it’s still possible the broadcaster could withdraw or cancel their application before the deadline.
The last participant to represent Montenegro was Andrea Demirović, with her entry ‘Just get out of my life’, who just fell short of making the final in 2009, after finishing in 11th place in Semifinal 1 with 44 points.

Andrea actually finished 10th, but the jury sent 12th placed Finland instead of Montenegro.
