TVMONACO the new public broadcaster of Monaco is set to launch on September 1 this year.

The new public service broadcaster of Monaco, TVMONACO now has a confirmed launch date. The channel will launch on September 1, 2023 and will be managed by Salim Zegdhar and Nathalie Biancolli. The channel will reveal more details on April 18 at MIPTV.

The TVMONACO team will move into its studios and offices in Fontvieille during July. The launch of the channel comes after the Principality of Monaco allocated 100,000 Euros in the 2022 budget towards a return to the Eurovision Song Contest.

The flag doesn't show up for me at the top of the page. :(

Anyway it looks very possible Monaco will be back in Eurovision for 2024 now that they have an official broadcaster which is exciting.

It'd be nice to have the back. If they do I can't help but feel that 2024 might be a tad early, I could see them coming back in 2025 and using next year to gauge interest and funds.

If TV Monaco is launching September 1st this year I don't see why they won't join in 2024.

As for Lux, I hope that if they enter we see something in French or even Italian (commonly spoken in the principality). I don't want them to go down the San Marino route of mostly mediocre songs with no local flavour.

So potentially Luxembourg and Monaco both coming back next year? Love to see it.

We just need Andorra back and there could be a small-country alliance to rival the nordics lol

I‘d be excited to have them back! Sending something in French or Italian would be a dream but most of all I look forward to seeing what their approach is going to be in general (buy artists and/or songwriters from France/Italy or showcase their own artists, generic pop or something more authentic etc.). I feel like Monaco would be such a wildcard in that regard.

...and will we be seeing any Monegasque members on this forum?

Let's see if the news come true...Each year we hear "Next year Monaco", it's close to be like the return of Turkey

They should send Charles Leclerc if they do enter. Sure F1 weekend and ESC weekends might overlap, but eh.
