I know indie bands have basically no chances to represent Moldova for a bunch of different reasons, but I hope Via Dacă somehow manage to go (even though most of their songs are way longer than 3 minutes, so they would have to write something specifically for Eurovision)

Both of their ESC entries were pure trash imho so I agree with you that I wouldn't really be open for a third try, but that song with Irina Rimes is pretty good though so if they could come up with something more serious then maybe maybe...

Deadline for the songs is 24th January
from 25th to 28th Jan - the jury will check the applications received
29th Jan - live audition
based on the level of applications received, the broadcaster could organize a national selection on March 5th.

She was discarded in Romania, in the comments they advised her to try with Moldova. So it might be a good thing for her and for the selection.
