Also, could someone please tell me if Moldovan legend Sasha Bognibov has performed yet? I take it i've missed a fair few already and i'm only tuning in for him.

I can't work out if I like DoReDoS' "FunnyFolk" or hate it with a burning passion. It's super aggravating because of the singers and their assault on English, but at the same time it's super catchy. This should have been Doiniţa Gherman's song.

Here are the Sasha Bognibov auditions

"Insane (Against Corruption)" would be the best choice for me. I love "Alone" with all my heart but live it would need a fair bit of improvement vocally. He comes across much stronger when rocking out on "Insane". A big part of Sasha's charm is his voice. It's an incredibly distinct, raw voice and the imperfections are what help to endear me to him and to connect. He's sincere and wildly passionate. I feel that Sasha is the kind of person who needs a live band behind him to truly shine. On stage he is magnetic. Gosh, he's just so awesome. I love watching him!

I still listen to his previous songs "Emigrantului" and "Wounded Swan" a lot. The latter would not sound out of place on an Elliott Smith record.

Completely in agreement with you Mr. [MENTION=9441]RainyWoods[/MENTION]. Insane is a better vehicle for his performing style and my preferred song out of the two. I was slightly intrigued by the slightly folksy feel to Alone at times, but the choruses do not have the strength they would need to stand out (for me at least!)

Excellent. Calvin probably won't be happy though as he favours "Alone" quite strongly, but I believe the clear choice here is "Insane (Against Corruption)". To be honest though, i'd be utterly thrilled with either song advancing to the semi final stagexcrossed

Honestly? Bognibov? He is a terrible singer! He's always out of tune for about a quarter note, his voice is shaky and weak and the song repeats itself all the time....
