Natalia doesen't have to prove anything as she hasn't released anything in the pres, yet! They are just things thrown in the air and on the Moldovan Eurovision forum....

One more thing. The way how she keeps silence about this says that it's fanatic bs. Not to mention that suspiciously it came right after announcing participants.
And I'm gonna say that my "I hope that all of this is just a bs" sentence indicated that it's not even official :|

I don't know the situation (or if there even is one) but if she hasn't come out and said anything then it doesn't sound like there is anything of concern here.

Actually this is how prejudices are born. People start rumors and then we have fans saying different stuff how certain broadcasters are corrupted etc. I'm not gonna keep silence about this

I'd be surprised if Natalia was going to make an accusation against Zdob si Zdub for her benefit. She did beat them in the 2007 selection and it was solely up to the jury then. It just doesn't sound real to me.
I'm not a fan of her entry this time around, though it is quite different from her previous ESC song.

+ as I've said if she really had something she would have already proved it, no proofs --> it's weird, most def a rumour. Why do they (fans) keep silence? etc. I think it's just someone who was afraid of competitors that's why some fan brought it to their forum.
I really hate this kind of rumours because I don't want to have certain comments here, let me quote one: "another corrupt nation is in".

oh, the 1st preselection phase will be in the end of this week (according to Komsomolka, trustable media which collaborates with TRM)
If I'm not mistaken the jury will choose 60 entries or they will choose 20 finalists without adding additional rounds.

She really said that in private circles and that's how it got to me. The thing didn't came from her but from someone in TRM and it's floating from artist to artist but nobody came to the press, but she is the only one that said she will withdraw as a protest in case it's true! I talk to her sometimes but I am not that close to her.

For me was obviouslly that Zdob si Zdub will represent Moldova even from when I saw the list. Their song is far away to be as good as in 2005, but they are with the best result for Moldova. I personally love Natalia, but her song is not so good this year. There is no need for a rumour that Zdob si Zdub will win, is something that all the people should accept and indeed, Zdob si Zdub don't need to buy their place. Natalia should try next time for Romania, maybe a colaboration with Sistem.

Something tells me that TRM wants to rise ratings or at leats keep them on the same level with 2010. There's no Turcu this year (thank gawd) --> they need something spicy and hawt :twisted:

The rumours was released from TRM and it apeared also on the forum and they are blaming Natalia for releasing it but it's not true, she just received the rumour and delivered it forward. She only told some of the contestants that she will withdraw in case this is true and they should do the same. But yesterday evening she said: ,,Let's wait to see who qualifies on Saturday and then we will talk!"
@ Centrix: I agree that you can't do anything about the televoting. They are Zdob si Zdub fans and they can vote whoever they want. But the jury should vote only for the song, no mather if the singer is Zdob si Zdub or Pavel Turcu. Dan Manoliu is helping TRM in organising the Selection and he is acting like Zdob si Zdub are Lady Gaga or something like that. IMO, if they go they will flop because they need to finish TOP 6, if they finish 7th in Dusseldorf it should be considered a flop....

I don't think that finishing lower than they did in 2005 is a flop, any place in the top-10 would be good, imo. Not to mention that Moldova didn't usually have high places - it's not like they were in the top-5 all the time and now they have a chance to finish lower.

If the jury likes Zdob si Zdub then it's ok but I want them to vote only for the song and tjhe fact that Zdob si Zdub are singing it should not influence their opinion not even withe 0,1 %. When Chiar took part in 2009 everybody said that anything lower than TOP 3 would be a flop for her so I guess that if you go to Eurovision for the 2nd time you should finish higher then the first time.
