We will try to experiment with the forum during the next few days.
If it doesn't help I'm afraid it will stay the same until we change phpbb platform.
All I know that it's not a virus for sure. It's our local screwed up (by phpBB styles) code and it wasn't infected by someone. Also it depends of Avast updates, but it obviously doesn't recognize this forum bug and says that it's a virus.

I hope we won't have to change the forum again ...

Nobody's gonna change the forum because of that )))

People can always use different anti-viruses or change Avast settings.
Though I hope that we will solve this.
+ changing the platform doesn't mean losing all data :) ;)

It's ok now, I don't have that problem anymore :)
And I also scanned my computer and there's no infected files. Before it showed 317 files infected   It's probably a mistake ;)

lol, I told you )))
thank you, Isabella.
We will try to get rid of that code though because it's a forum bug. I'll inform you if we can do it before changing the forum platform.

I also use NOD32, and it didn't say anything here, but I have seen this on several other sites/boards. For example some sites don't work for me when I open them. It says that there is a virus file, and it terminates the connection. Could be indeed a bug.

From my own experience Avast sucks big time   But not as much as McAfee

NOD32 is the best AV, but needs to be updated constantly.
