Thirty-six (36) songs are competing to be part of the MESC 2024 Final.

On Friday (October 27), the first set of nine songs will premiere on a TVM program called XOW (which is pronounced "show"). For each of the next three Fridays after that, nine more songs will premiere. The songs will be performed by their respective artists. On the fifth episode, XOW will announce the 12 songs that receive the most votes from the jury and the public. The 12 songs will go through to the final, which will take place on a date that is to be determined.

XOW will be broadcast on Fridays at 21:00 CET on TVM.
