I am not happy, judging by the names. I hope Belov will flop again, one OT representative on this ESC is enough. Also, I am not fond on Vlatko Lozanoski either. :?
My choice and vote would be definitely on Suzana Spasovska! She is a folk/ballad singer and I can tell without a doubt that the song "Bog go ima sekoj kluch" is a strong ballad. It is likely that she won't be chosen, as she appeals to the older generation. My grandma is likely to vote for her. Suzana has a really powerful voice and she can score really high on the jury panel.
Out of the others, Esma's band - Dzipsi Dens looks promising. It might be another version of last year's "Gangsta oro". Dimitar Andonovski might be my other pick, as he has a song by Vrchak. Bravo Band, Verica Pandilovska, Daniel, Nade Talevska and Maja Vukicevic are among the others that I might consider. If Maja has a song like her nice hits from the past, then she will be my first pick.

and yes Darko Ilievski is the one from Music Idol last year.
he's now on Republika label with few of the artists on this nf... such as Dimitar Andoovski and Vlatko Lozanoski whom I consider as the front fave to win!
also my personal fave, ulike aletem i think Lozano has a true talent! I bought his debute album today that was released yesterday and well it's quite amazing!he has already strong fanbase so I think the televote will go in his favour!
Juries also love him as his vocal is soooo close to what Tose sounded like.
I wouldn't sign off the other Vlatko! Ilievski that is! his last years song was pronounced macedonian radio hit of the year! so together with Lozano I think they are the ones to beat this year!
I would not agree that the older audience gonna vote much for the folk stuff as honestlly this is not Dora! perfect example is last year...as the teenage fan girls decided the winner...voting like crazy for Next Time Lozano has similar fanbase + he's liked by bit older croud! such as myself
so, turns out no previous ESC participants this time, which might be a good thing I think

Haha I love both Vlatko's, too. Lozano is definitely the better singer though. He makes it look effortless, just needs a good song.

Based on that list, i'm looking forward to ... meh anyone who'll have a good song. lol

And Pampers? I know we call em Pampersi, but I think the proper English translation is Pumpers, no? As in they 'pump up' the crowd... I mean that's how I've heard them explain the band's name...I could be wrong.

who I also like from this line up:

well Nade Talevska! she can sing REALLY good and I adored her last years entry!! she was uhm ROBBED last time not making the final :x she had a radio hit at least too bad she teamed up with Koprov ( PUKE ) he's our Babic soo anoying :roll:

Belov is lucky to get that Trpcevski song! sure is well written piano ballad and the juries gonna love it! we'll see if Aco is as popular as he was on OT. last year's NF results are not very hopefull for him...

Darko Ilievski..hmm I'm looking forward to hear his song as it's written by Lazar Cvetkovski (Lozano's composer and producer) so I'm sure it's something I'm gonna like. he can go as high as the top 5 I predict!

Esma's Bend will be interesting..if that the Queen Esma actual band! surely it's a dancable song though!

that Corbadzija song is actually performed by one of the guys from Sleng last year I read so that could be fun lots of fans from Ohrid screaming their lungs out in Univerzalna me thinks

Verce Pandilovska meeh..she always have better songs on her albums than on Skopje Fest, so I'm not expecting anything!
the same goes for Gjoko Taneski!

Treta Dimenzija, Duo Slajd, Bravo band all can have nice songs but not esc worthy I supose.
Suki Spasovska song could be interesting. though I don't expect anything special.
Daniel Stojmanovski and Maja Vukicevic will have well produced songs as Masevski is behind them. just that Daniel can really sing and Maja canot sing well live even if her life was depending on it
Dimitar Andovoski got the Vrcak song (previsously rumored to be perfromed by Elena Risteska). he can reach the final, though 3 Republika acts might be too much for this competition as he is the least popular of all of them.
Kristijan Jovanov (from OT yes) doesn't stand a chance.
maaany unknow artists or artists with just few released songs (no hits though ) this year :?
so Vlatko VS. Vlatko to ESC is my early prediction
I guess Macedonia will be sending male aritst again

oh and how can I forget the AMAZING YOVA RADEVSKA I adored her song back in 2008 and I'm sure even if it's half good this year will be amoung my faves
though I can't see her doing well with the public vote

I cannot believe that Belov got Trpcevski's song. :shock: The song will be likely much better than the one he had last year. Its not that I dislike Lozanovski, more like his songs. Anyway, I am sure he will get a nice song. Its better to listen to him for 3 minutes, rather than 4.
Bojan is pretty much right with the predictions. I think he forgot "Parketi". They might surprise. I can't really stand them though.
@ Suki... She tried in 1998 on SkopjeFest, but I don' recall that her song was nice. Though, she did change after. She stopped singing "Dzingerlaka" type of songs and went on to nice powerful ethnic ballads. "Chorbadzija" might also be a nice song. I am sure this time the fans from Ohrid will behave. After all, they would like many people this summer (business wise).

oh yeh i remember them cheering for Sleng...i didnt know that was just fans from Ohrid..it sounded just like a bunch of proud macos! hahaha..i wouldve cheered for SLeng too - its one of those songs that as an audience u can really get into - its the song i wanted for MK last year..

but instead Next Time was the first Macedonian entry i havent liked!...but for some reason i think this years NF is very promising!

so here's a little update on couple of songs...
from todays article of the daily newspaper "Spic" they put the light on the 2 "suprising" acts on SKopjeFest this year!
first of all Esma's band! no Esma won't be singing... the band is formed from her adopted children.. but also this will be the premier of the new Esma's protege the 18 year old Eleoonora, who will be singing in the band.
Esma said that she's extremly talented, that she will take care of her musical education and her future carier. She sees her procedor in her

The other suprising act is the folk singer Suzana Spasovka (Or Suze Nacionale as she's refered to in this article). She'll be singing in duet with the opera singer Darko Nesovski. Suze says that it's a strong ballad mixture of ethno and opera and not very comercial (Rum Dum Dum anyone? :?) but than she compares it a bit with the Secret Garden wining ESC entry :|

Oye, Esma's/Suze's self-praise gets annoying sometimes. Worse than Oprah, I tell you! But the songs do sound interesting.
