Well, the performance had nothing to do with the song, just like Poland.
We could almost see the dancers' vaginas. That was cheap ;)

I personally like the fact that Macedonia was able to pull some almost naked girls on stage. If only Europe would have thought about vaginas, instead of male genitals, we would have been in the final. :D I guess we should have sent male dancers like that. Maybe Gjoko would have made it. :geek:

OK but then send a hot song or something about vaginas and men genitals and it will be appropiate, not a pop-rock mid-tempo which has nothing to do with this stuff ;)

I agree with eveilperson, our diva Kaliopi deserves to represent this country on ESC! after missing out on Eurovision about 3 times since her first atempt in 1996,
what I am hoping for is that MKTV will come to it's sensses and give Kaliopi the wildcard for ESC 2011! let the woman write her song during the year (as she writes almost all of her songs) and just do a nice enough presentation show at the begining of next year! no need for SkopjeFest or any other big selectioins! it's just does not work!
and this system works well for Bosnia, Turkey etc...
even Serbia this year. had a small 3 songs NF from one composer ! and that worked fine!
it will save them money + any more scandals about our NF (as we usually have).

about our 12 points on Saturday,... i honestly hope that for the 1st time after our 1st participation in 1998 they will go to my beloved Croatia!!! they realy deserved it this year! and if OGAE Macedonia is as powerfull as last year (they affected Hadise's final 12 points from -mk ) I think this can happen :D

I'm sorry that Macedonia didn't qualify :(
I'd rather see this song in the final than Russia.

Gjoko's response about the results

I feel okay. I had a feeling we wouldn't go through to the Final. I guess I'll go home now on Wednesday. But the performance was wonderful, I'm very satisfied with that.

Poor Gjoko, he did everything he could have. At least they had a great time there. Yes MTV should finally choose Kaliopi internally. She is pretty famous as well and she can sing anything. Another option is to send Elena with a song composed and written by Tose Proeski.
Anyhow, I think they should finally be more serious. We had a good song this year, but not good enough for the rest of Europe. Also, I repeat this over and over, we need a good aggressive marketing. :)

Yeah, Croatia is way better than Serbia/Bosnia. The other great option is Albania. :D

Now we know all the qualifiers, so lets guess how will we vote:

I think these will be the overall votes:
12 - Albania
10 - Serbia
8 - Turkey
7 - Romania
6 - Bosnia and Herzegovina
5 - Iceland (jury would vote for it, unless we are nice and give it to Georgia  )
4 - Azerbaijan
3 - Armenia
2 - Greece
1 - France

I might be wrong though. There are pretty good songs in the final. :)

I hope they are not that nuts!!! I could switch Azerbaijan and Iceland, the first one to get 5 the other one 4. I'm curious to see what Bojan thinks.

Yuo I also think that Albania will get 8 from Macedonia. 12 from televotes and 4 or 5 from jury only if there is any Albanian at the jury members

considering our last year points when we first had 50/50 jury-televote I think it will end up like this...
though Albania might score even more as this years song it will appeal more to the juries than the last years one IMO.

Political situation in Macedonia is not so good so Im afraid it will reflect the voting and Albania will get lower points that deserves from Macedonia. Televoting will help a lot to get at least 5 or 6 points. I hope it wont happen this.
