Can someone explain to me why people like the song from Iceland more than the one from Latvia? I'd really like to understand that and broaden my horizon...

Iceland's song is fun, catchy and has a great melody. Latvia's just a mess.

Agree Stargazer. I thought Sweden was the 3rd worst song but it qualified , whilst Estonia and Portugal didn't, 2 songs i really liked

So much commotion that I overlooked the fact that qualified and not. I like both ( more than ) but based on their performances should have qualified instead, imo ( was nice as well though). A bit sad about this.

I totally agree. I mean at the ESC you have to perform a remarkable song. And this is what Iceland did!
