It's not really a concept of the song, that's just who Monika Liu is as an artist. All of her songs have this retro kinda vibe. Though I do understand it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea.

Usually I can see what has everyone so hyped with songs, even when I can't stand the song myself. This I cannot. Words cannot express how horrendously mundane I find this. It doesn't matter to me whether it's English, Lithuanian or in smoke signals. It's about the song and this does nothing at all for me.

So it's this year's first "jazz" entry.... will this fail like all of the previous ones? Not sure, there's some parts i like, but overall it feels cold and flat to me. Great that they're finally using their own language, though... if only Sweden could ever do the same!
